Sermwell: How do the writer expect us to swallow this hook, line and sinker? These are allegations without proof and evidence. We can only judge the deputy governor based on what comes to our knowledge during his brief stint as acting governor. As far as we know, while Akeredolu was away, Aiyedatiwa initiated many project that were begging for attention. The Ondo- Okitipupa road has long been riddled with potholes and it's fast degenerating into a deplorable condition. The section within Ore is an eye sore of unimaginable proportion. Attention only started coming when the deputy governor assumed full capacity of an acting position. Also in the governor absence, there were rumour of his wife interference in the state matter. A glaring example was the proposed imposition of one Mrs Nwamara as the local government chairman in Odigbo. Nwamara, a woman of Igbo tribe has long been enjoying the privilege of ethnic connection with Mrs Betty Akeredolu, the governor wife. Her first political appointment wasn't without controversy and that was about 5 years ago when Aketi wife successfully installed her as Ore ward councilor to the consternation of party members. The recent moves however agitated the people from the local government into protest and they took their grievances to the state governors office. There we were told Aiyedatiwa denied any knowledge of the planned appointment. This is considered an affront to the unconstitutional authority wielded by Aketis wife. 3 Likes 1 Share |

All these dictatorial governors read the book of how to change deputies written by Tinubu between 1999 and 2007. |

Democracy and politics are played by a separate, unique set of rules in this country. There is always a problem between the governor and his deputy whenever the deputy governor makes a move to be the next governor. It seems like these politicians are hiding things from us because most Nigerian governors don't want their deputy to succeed them as governor for reasons best known to them. |

TemplarLandry:without fair hearing? Why are you people always in support of evil things? You know that what is happening there is wrong but you are supporting them for a reason best known to you. Is this a democracy or civil rule? One day this evil act you are supporting will come back to hunt you. You yourself know that he has not committed any crime but you just have to follow your evil political alliance. This is the same thing Obasanjo wanted to do to Atiku but Atiku was wiser than him. Is it a crime if a deputy governor wanted to contest for governor? Imagine if kwankoso has done the same thing to Ganduje The governors has turned the state assemblies members into zombies that only follow what the governor has said. Stop supporting evil because you don't know tomorrow. |

If the background of this deputy governor is thoroughly examined, they will realize that he has Igbo blood from somewhere in his family; it is either his grandma or his grandpa on his mother side is an Igbo. The way he behaved when his boss was away has a lot to do with his Igbo side. An Omoluabi doesnβt operate in such a cheap way |

Exactly my thought too. Sentiment apart. It's quite unfortunate how the whole issue is taking a backpropagation approach. Temidayo9: |
