I disagree with anyone who mentions these names:

Yakubu:    He had a bad 2010 WC but his record is still enviable for the Eagles
Justice Christopher:   was a very descent defensive midfielder but injury ruined his career
Christian Obodo: held his own very well although for a short period. Was already old before he hit limelight.
Agbovnibare: Was a descent goalkeeper that helped us through our qualification for our first ever world cup. It is unfair to list him here.
Ben Akwuegbu: was not a regular in important matches but he got some goals in some lowly rated friendlies. Not that bad.
Victor Agali: How can anyone name Agali among the flops of all time?? this is unfair na, haba!!!!!

It's amazing that you people are castigating our ex international, if i may how many of you have represented your country in any capacity and what are your achievements so far. Whether you like it or not these people are honourables more than our politifians

Peter Ijeh was also not given enough chance. He was banging goals in Sweden and got a call to SE for a friendly against, I think, Egypt. Nigerians expected him to score 10 goals in his debut just he scored goals in Sweden but had a bad game. He wasn't given second chance. So I think it's not fair enough to put him here.

The worst ever was [size=28pt]Efetobore Sodje[/size]. I hated that guy with all my life

Permit me to highlight your ignorance sir. John Mikel Obi might be a 'basic' player but he is still one of the best CM/DM in the Super Eagles. He is a regular for Chelsea too. Apart from Mikel (Chelsea), Joel Obi (Inter) and Taiwo (Milan), can anybody mention Nigerian player playing for a top European club? He had so much promise, 'new Okocha' blah blah blah. You can't blame the boy for being converted to a Defensive Midfielder from an attacking role, point fingers at Jose Mourinho. But anyway Mikel IS and WILL be one of the best players in the Super Eagles.

Femi Opabunmi-He was an old man harassing young players in Trinidad & Tobago,he never really break into the SE.

Isaac Semitoje- He nearly cost us the semi-final against CoteDeVoire in Tunisia 94 (short one)

Garba Lawal-You couldn't really see what he was doing yet the team could not do without him (he shouldn't be on worst players list though).His cheap winning goal against Spain in France '98 was a big relief.

Bartholomew Ogbeche- He held so much promise in PSG but the world cup in 2002 was too big for him after which he fizzled out.

Eddy Dumbraiye-Was he really DUMB?

Abiodun Baruwa-Too much amala (he disgraced Nigeria at a friendly match against Holland.Let in about 4 or 5 cheap goals.

Peter Ijeh-He was a shinning star in Sweden but couldn't kick outside Sweden.

Thompson Oliha-No talent but still a part of the golden 1994 team.Still remember his long face after the ouster against Italy at USA '94.

Alloy Agu-Half bread is better than puffpuff; the bungle against Abedi Pele's shot in Senegal '92 semifinal was unforgivable.

Bennedict Akwuegbu-Just an average players, has been around since the golden U-17 in 1985. He never thrived outside Austria.

Mobi Oparaku-Height was the major problem;he couldn't excel like Celestine Babayaro probably due to old age.

Wilfred Agbonivbare-Commanded respect in Spain;Looked more of a businessman than a footballer (pot-bellied).Was later replaced with Rufai.
