I’m a Nigerian youth in my twenties. I secure my first job a month after service. Have change Job three times and currently I work at the comfort of my home. The population of Nigeria keep growing exponentially. People give birth without a clear plan.
Currently I’m enjoying being a Nigerian. Have been a law abiding citizen and I can boldly says have never involve in crime or any fraudulent activities.
I make my money legally. What help me is simple, I think outside the box, keep improving my self. Everyday I ask myself what can I contribute to Nigeria. What problem can I solve. Nigeria need a lot of problem solver. You don’t need a total enabling environment to thrive. Even with this current situation, a problem solver will thrive. People have problems and they are looking for solution. If everyone can start thinking of solution and stop complaining, Nigeria will be great.

It’s only in Nigeria I see people want you to fail all because you share different ideology.
The government need our support, if you feel they are doing something wrongly, instead of complaining provide a clear cut solution. In fact suggest solutions. Then we gonna have a community that’s ready to thrive.

My responsibility as a citizen is to obey the law. Government responsibility as leaders representing Nigerians across the federation is to provide adequate security of lives and property, job opportunities, quality education, quality healthcare, eradicate poverty, descent wage, infrastructure et al.

Change your wack mentality of asking an average Nigerians that could barely feed what's their contribution to the country when they're obeying the law of the land as a citizen. Firstly, the naira was not really floated against the dollar, they just pegged it at the current dollar rate at the time which alleviated the pressure on the naira at the time, but like some of us were advising then, it doesn't really solve the issue of fx unavailability long term as we see now with the black market rate rocketing to over 1,000.
Secondly, what exactly is being done that makes you believe that the darkness is almost over? I'm not gunning for a fight honestly, just really curious

We are trying to tackle the elephant in the room. I supported and voted for Obi because I felt he would have the boldness to take the hard decisions our economy desperately needs. I felt Tinubu and atiku will not be able to do anything because they are benefiting from the system but Tinubu is taking the exact decisions I expected Obi to take.
You will agree with me that Nigeria's economy is bad, very bad and if we don't want Sri Lanka to happen to us, hard decisions need to be made. Tinubu is making them, he has not fully convinced me but he is doing much better than I anticipated.

I don't know which metric you are using but in most metrics of business, you find more Yoruba than Igbo. Highest paid CEOs of public companies, Nigerian founded companies with most employees, visible high net worth individuals and almost any metric you want to use but we must realize people living on Yoruba land in SW NC and SS are not less than eighty million or there abouts.
