Going into transportation business involving vehicles either cars or buses or Keke or okada is a very risky business at the moment except of course you've a large number of vehicle units that can cover basic expenses and still give profits.

Repairing vehicles is no small jokes and once you repair once, you'll keep repairing over and over again as most mechanics aren't skilled and just do trial and error.

I'll advise you look for something else, perhaps an online or an offline skill or if you can combine both, good. It will take a while but once the dividend starts coming in, you can expand and diversify. Wishing you all the best

I’m a commercial driver, I invested every penny I got to buy a 2006 Sienna I use for transport, the car is American use, in a good condition I bought at a car stand here, for 4.5million naira last year, I was able to pay rent, eat and take care of wellbeing pay school fees last year, I graduated last year, but haven’t done clearance due to no money, my hopes is that I’ll make money from this Xmas holiday. Cause business have been bad since this year due to fuel subsidy, seat at home, here’s the issue, My mechanic that fixed my radiator cause it was leaking before, forgot to remove a blockage that was put in the gear box host, My gearbox transmission oil overheated due to the blockage in the host, that connected from the radiator to the gearbox, transmission oil turned black with a burnt smell, oil spilled, mechanic said fiber has burnt, but my gears is selecting fine, just that when in D it revs but moves slowly now mechanic is advising me to convert it from 13pin to 10pin, or go buy a new one which is at 650,000-700,000 naira, the conversion will be 150,000 plus atf oil 45,000 naira research and advise said I shouldn’t convert should get another gear box, I don’t want mechanic to damage it the more, it was a mechanic that put me in this mess at first, it’s a 2006 Toyota gearbox, This is my first time for crying out, all my life I have been hustling, sold pure water, push barrow, poured concrete and served masons at building site, I’m scared cause I’m overwhelmed right now. I want to rest I want a way out, I have been browsing dead celebrities and rich people and I’m saying to myself I’m no better than them, I’m scared and I’m feeling suicidal, I don’t want to hurt the people that love me by killing myself, or hurt my parents, I haven’t slept for 3 days, no appetite for food for 3days, I’m lean, scared, overwhelmed and tired, I’m crying out for help now, cause I can’t help myself and no one to help me please 🙏 please, I have prayed to God, this is my last thing I thought of, but humans are the closest god to me now, my heart is felling me and I’m so overwhelmed I want to rest and be blanked out from this world

At 26 you are a full grown man, however you still young and has many years ahead. Learn from this. I would advise you to sell the vehicle at least now that the prices of cars is on the high side. you can start a food items business, go to the far north buy grains and sell them in the south.
transportation business is not the type of business you can always rely on. It is easy to calculate how much you can make but achieving that is as difficult as a camel passing through the eyes of a needle. I toiled for 10yrs had about a dozen buses in a reputable company but I had to sell everything and start allover when I realize how difficult it was to really make as much as you have invested. You never would have peace of mind. anything could happen, accident, police, agberos, LGA, State traffic wardens, VIO, Road safety armed Robbers, careless pedestrians and the ultimate wicked Drivers. The money you spent on that vehicle can start a business that would give you peace. Learn from my story. God help you.
