Please what's the meaning of vintage again??

See......not everyone is a Dumbo

Seeing this thread.......I already knew your agenda

Outta here!!!

Lolz.

Hahaha.

Post something from your tribe from the late 19th century to early 20th century.

I chose this period because European influence was less impactful on the populace and the people were in their natural elements.

Inferiority complex dey worry you.

The Catholic church did a lot in getting them to dress decently.

Catholic church use to issue branded wrappers and white blouse to their women to both get them to come to Sunday mass and to be descent when present.

Azikiwe's young pics is not representative of Ibo culture as he wasn't wearing any traditional wear but dressed fully in European attire .

Leave that thing.

Their inferiority complex brought about their total lack of culture is not my headache.

This is why I refused to post vintage pics of Alaigbo because they were all buttnaked savages.

shocked

Just because they were "buttnaked" doesn't make them savages. They had a system of government, and were mostly farmers and traders 🤔.

They didn't bother on personal decency how do you think they could evolve complex institutions of governance and rule?

I saw where you mentioned that zik's pics was because he has been refined by the colonialists.

No, the high class people of the communities you posted weren't refined.

Can you post the picture of the people of lowest echelon in Yoruba in 1910's??......No you can't because probably the don't know what camera is.

It's the same everywhere...... even in today's world.

Primitive people in villages may not look so nice in picture compared to the one's in exposed area (it doesn't know any tribe).

Once again......... your agenda in this thread is known.

That's from the European view of other cultures. I'm sure we can learn a lot from these cultures that has been demonized by the victors.

If they were not colonized but only made enough contacts with other parts of the world, these guys would certainly be better off (in my opinion). Sure, there will be war (just like every culture/Europe) before peace and these wars will bring out the best in them.

I've come to understand that it takes 'mingling' with others to find out you're doing something wrong or "savagery". It took the Moors' influence to convince some parts of European that bathing is a normal thing. A west African slave had to introduce innoculation to Americans.

Stop posting pics of Zik in European attire.

FYI, a Bini Prince was one of the first foreign educated Nigerians who schooled abroad and came back with a Portogesse wife. This was sometime in the 15th century.

An Itsekiri Prince also studied in Portugal around the same time.

So don't use that 20th century jappa Zik pics to say you are more advanced .

.

Ojukwu's father (one of the richest man in his era) traded and travelled to sign the palm oil shipment deal oversea NAKED??

Yeah...... they definitely did.

You see half-education....... it's always easy to be noticed and is very dangerous in the society.

Inferiority complex of the highest order ! Indeed, the agenda to attach Igbo to Lagos by fire and by force is very real ! You should be ashamed that the Op had nothing to showcase about the igbos instead of trying to hijack Lagos,a state that doesn't share a common boundary with Alaigbo ! You igbos obsession with Lagos is real, even Mr Nnamdi Azikiwe tried in vain to be the Premier of the old Western region, shior !

You should be worried that there was nothing to showcase about the Igbos under the period being reviewed. That alone says a lot; your progenitors were still hobnobbing with some primitive orangutans in the jungles of Alaigbo at the time !

I no post from Alaigbo , Una still complain that I am showcasing the beauty of the original culture of Nigerians to get on Ibo inferiority complex nerves.

I know this inferiority complex is what is driving you people to embrace Jewish Marxism and Zionism and why you idiots are in the forefront insulting all other traditional rulers in Nigeria .

Is this not why Jews are in the fore front fighting to destroy European monarchies and civilization so that their cainanite ways can be accepted as supreme?

I know you Bingos more than you know yourselves.

I will not stop celebrating Nigeria's cultural heritage because it makes you heathen savages uncomfortable.

What is there to post about the people who were still going about almost naked;covering their private parts with banana leaves only ! I truly commend your maturity for restraining yourself from posting historical pictures that are capable of triggering depression in igbos of today ! Some of us have pictures/records of how the Ijaws sold igbos in their millions into slavery for a peanut !

I'm not here for a dick measuring competition you are seeking but let me educate you a little. Civilization in Nigeria started with the South West. For your information, Christianity started in Egba, Abeokuta, Ogun state. WNTV, the first TV station in Africa (now NTA) started in Ibadan, courtesy Chief Obafemi Awolowo, way ahead before many European countries had television. First University in Nigeria was University of Ibadan, courtesy same Chief Awolowo. These are just few advancement in the South West that I will just give you. Back to your insultive comment, what big deal about photo camera when there had already been audio-visual camera in South West? Why do you Igbos always feel offended without being provoked? You guys are too toxic abeg.

The pic is not dated but shows a young half-naked Ibo woman.

The metal rings or coils on her legs are of Igala origin (based on the
Colonial books and pictures I have read and seen years back), so that pic was taken in today's Anambra or Enugu States where Igala ethnic ancestries and influences exist.

Even the Igala red chieftaincy cap was first introduced by the Igalas into the Nsukka area going back to 500 years of Igala ethnic presence in those two states.

Stop telling unnecessary lies. Those coils are original Igbos. Igalas copied from the Igbos.

Everyone can easily see how hateful you people are. Your parents teach you nothing else except to hate Igbos from childbirth. But does it stop Igbos from being ahead of you? No! Hate will only ruin the hater while the hated doesn't even know you exist.

Odumegwu Ojukwu senior, Alvan Ikoku, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Michael Okpara etc etc were all graduates as far back as 1930's. They showed you pictures of Azikiwe wearing suit in 1913 and there many other Igbos like him then! But in your hate, you continue fooling yourself.

Atleast, Igbos taught you yorubas about iron smithing during precolonial times! Anywhere in the world, any civilization that had knowledge of iron smithing was always ahead of others! We also had Igbo Ukwu and other great artifacts that predate whatever you can get from Yorubaland. This is another factor that shows Igbos were ahead of you yorubas!

Igbos also modified a form of writing during precolonial times called Nsibidi. Can you show me the one yorubas had before the Europeans or Hausas introduced the Arab civilizations to you guys?

Ugly and dirty baboons that still cook with toilet brooms till this day think they're mates with Igbos.

Spits!

Don't mind those hateful skull mining degenerates. Igbos had so many relics developed by them even before the Europeans arrived. That brass anklets was an Igbo identity worn by the nobles. Some White people thought they could purchase it as survenir to take back to Europe but when they heard how costly it was, they dropped the idea!

Many of our traditional relics are still available today. The oja, the fanciful handheld pipe, brass anklets etc. Simple google search would have cured their ignorance but no, they must exhibit their foolishness.

You yorubas are the most toxic and hypocritical people ever. But you've met your Waterloo in Igbos. It is your inferiority complex that makes you people to keep thinking about Igbos every minute of the day while we don't even care if you exist.

Hateful tribe of primitive skull miners.
