Harvard University has made history by inaugurating Claudine Gay as its first Black president and the second woman to hold the position. In her inaugural speech, Gay emphasized the university's commitment to questioning the world and making it better. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey praised the significance of Gay's presidency, and the Harvard Corporation elected her due to her strong moral compass and integrity.
