Rebranding. To help change the image of the black men positively.
They also gathered to feed the poor.

A lot of damage has been done to the blacks in the US. Years of oppression and white-washing has messed up the mindset/orientation/self-image of majority of the blacks.

Most blacks hate any thing that reminds them of the whites whether positive or negative.

A lot of blacks hate Jesus Christ simply because they think he's white. They see him as racist. Which is why Islam actually gained more popularity under Malcom X and Farrakhan.

A lot of blacks also identify with wrong role models like pimps, gangster rappers, strippers, fraudstarts, etc instead of actual professionals simply because of the racism they've experienced or heard others experience from whites.

A lot of Black Americans have not healed from the pain of racist oppression and white-washing and it will take a lot to help repair the damage that has been meted on them. Unfortunately they've developed the victim mentality.

It's so bad that the Black Americans have also developed racism towards Africans over there in US simply due to transferred aggression. The average Black American is so lost that he sees his enemies as his friends and his friends as his enemies.

This is what the presenter is addressing,, that it is fellow Blacks and LGBTQ that failed to see any good thing about Black men in suit when the others including the whites are commending the rebranding.
