No need for shalaye, govt should seize the truck and owner should bear cost of replacement. Once that is done, the truck can be released. The truck drivers must get sense by fire by force.

Lagos State Government and their useless means of syphoning funds...
What will it cost them to orientate the truck drivers on their routing options prior to the fixing of the barrier... Or erecting the barrier to accommodate 60 ft containers to avoid wastage of tax payers money over white elephant projects....

Definitely you are cursed with negativity. Go back to your cursed village nah

Lol you won't understand what the elders seat and observe over the years ... It is two decade of observation.. the Lagos State Government have Archives, they should look and study all the accident within that axis . They would realize something don't add up .

It is intentional. The government need to find a lasting solution to all these useless trucks, especially around that axis.....

Seize the container and fine the truck for the damages. They will learn as they keep paying for the barrier.

The government must not pay for the repairs bt the truck owners.

This is just madness, how can one not see this barrier if he's not under the influence of drugs? It's here that cars knock down traffic light, street lights and get away with it.

Drivers of such vehicles should be made to face the full wrath of the law and kept in prison till they are able to fix whatever structure they damaged.

Expected, when the LASG fail to put in place proper and adequate road signages, they prefer to put things and LASTMA on the roads to harass motorists by removing roadsigns in order to get victims. That road sign out to be installed just after you descend the stadium bridge going to ojuelegba and just after you descend the jibowu bridge coming to ojuelegba so that the trucks already know to divert to the service lanes undecided undecided undecided undecided
The barrier should also have adequate illumination especially for night truck drivers to avoid recurrence angry angry angry

The new truck barrier was installed early in August in response to a series of truck accidents on the Ojuelegba Flyover. The Lagos State Government had run a poll on its social media handles and respondents had advised that it should ban trucks from using the flyover.

Bro you are very ignorant and display high level of stupidity. The barrier is to prevent trucks falling off the bridge or what's the essence of the battier accommodating those trucks and they end up falling off the bridge.
It's not a must u comment on all subjects when black basic understanding

Now that truck must be impounded and ensured that the repair for the barrier is paid for by the truck company. It’s either that the truck failed it’s brake or the driver was high on igbo/paraga.

Again, aside from the barrier, government should ensure that warning signs and officials must be on duty to ensure that such things don’t repeat themselves.

Truck drivers usually get high before driving. They must be made to face alchohol tests on the road as another way of checkmating their foolishness.

The only right measure is to sell the truck and imprison the driver. What nonsense
Re: Another Truck Has Rammed Into The Ojuelegba Barrier. by Originalsly: 5:53pm On Oct 08, 2023
This will continue to happen ... different driver different day. Stubborn drivers... high drivers ... reckless drivers .... will continue to crash into the barriers as long as there are no severe consequences. High fines and imprisonment .... plus confiscating the truck and goods will end this recklessness overnight.

Truck falls and kills people, you complain. They put barriers to stop trucks from using the bridge, you destroy it. What else should the government do?

Was the truck driver blind or he chose to intentionally destroy the barrier?
