What Awaits The Nigerian Youth After NYSC?? by Francisodafe(m): 9:10am On Oct 14, 2023
It is not news that one of the greatest challenges faced by most Nigerian graduates after NYSC is the quest for what to do.
Research proves that a good percentage of youths end up taking at least one of these 4 steps after NYSC;
1. Explore Further Education
2. Learn a Skill
3. Start a business or continue an existing one
4. Job hunt

You'll agree with me that not many persons consider the first 3 options, majority just get into the job market and try seeking employment wherever fits them as long as it pays just enough to get by till they can secure their dream job.
Getting just any job as a way of escape from idleness and delayed employment is a resultant effect of lack of preparation for the labour market.
Getting a job that aligns with ones career path is an important factor in seeking employment.
Also knowing what steps to take in securing ones dream job is crucial as well.
For effective Job search,one must;
(i) Prepare one's CV/Resume
(ii) Search for suitable job openings
(iii) Submit Job applications
(iv) Prepare for Interview.

To start your career journey,dm for professionally written CV's at affordable prices as I also take you through step by step process of securing your dream job.
