Chai, the real definition of karma,I think they should seek forgiveness from the person they dupe before this karma reach the children, husband fried, wife in prison. She fried the man's face.
THE FEAR OF WOMEN IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM.
I can assure you that they didn't dupe anybody, it's likely that the man is a kidnapper.

Nobody dupes people by 2am at night, and nobody in ph with #20m goes to etche to look for any serious business, etche is a known hardcore kidnapping area in ph.

If what the lady is saying is true then the man did not dupe anybody but he is a kidnapper.

The issue here is that the woman is wicked and it's a premeditated act, groundnut oil is not normally hot, it's normally cold. For somebody to fight u, dissapear appear with hot groundnut oil then pour it at u, just know the person always wanted to pour u hot oil.

Nigeria needs to put more effort in stopping this, this pouring people with hot water or oil or acid should be treated as an attempted murder incident.

Some years ago arounf the late 90's my aunt was in a fight with one of our tenants wife, because she was causing problem with my mother thats very quiet, the woman went brought out hot water poured on my aunt, my aunt covered her face so it just poured on her hand and back but the splash poured on the the womans face.

They arrested the woman but was freed after some weeks.

I know the etche girl would be freed and I know that marriage is over, the etche girl would move to a far away place and maybe start a new life with a new man or maybe become a prostitute, now imagine someone with such wicked heart roaming free.

Must they wait until she kills somebody before they lock her up permanently?

Rivers State Police Command has arrested and paraded one Favour Nweke, who bathed her husband, Ekelediri Nwokekoro, with hot groundnut oil over a squabble.

DAILY POST earlier reported how the housewife committed the crime on Tuesday in Okehi, Etche Local Government Area of the State.

While being paraded at the command’s headquarters along Moscow Road, Port Harcourt on Friday, the suspect confessed to have committed the heinous crime.

She told journalists that her husband recently started behaving strangely, which according to her, was linked to a crime he committed with his friends.

The housewife explained that the squabble began when she confronted her husband over his behaviour and alleged involvement in a crime.

She said, “He will go out at about 2 o’clock in the night and will come back early in the morning. Sometimes he would go, and stay two or three days before coming back, then I asked him where are you even going?

“So his friend called me and asked if I had heard what was on the ground, I said ‘What is that?’ He said my husband and some people were involved in one illegal act. He said they called somebody from Abuja that the person should come and work in Etche, and that they have a contract to give to the person and when the person came they duped the person of N20 million.

“I said he didn’t tell me; that I was hearing this for the first time. I said ‘no wonder this guy has been acting strange, planning on how to travel and go to one African country.’ So this is the reason.

“So when he came back, I grabbed him and said this is what I heard and I confronted him but he refused and we quarrelled. We ended it that day. I then asked him what he did with his own share of the money. I heard some people bought land with their own, so what did you use your own to do?

“As we were dragging that issue that morning, he hit me, I ran into the kitchen with that oil and I poured it on him. That was how it happened.”

She, however, denied the allegations that she was involved in extramarital affairs prior to the incident.

She pleaded for forgiveness, saying she did not know her actions would result in this.

“I feel bad. Had I known that this thing would turn out like this I would not have done it to him. I will just go to my place and stay. I am begging for Nigerians, you people should forgive me”, she added.

Meanwhile, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi assured citizens that the suspect would be prosecuted and made to face the consequences of her action.

“I can assure you that the law will catch up with her and anybody who tries to take the laws into their hands, will be made to face the necessary sanctions,” Nwonyi said.

Madam you are wicked this your story no add up at all.
If you claim you ran into the kitchen only to emerge with hot oil with which you poured it on your husband, when did you heat the oil up Because you never said you were in the kitchen trying to cook when your husband return and you confronted him You can not just run into the kitchen and carry a hot oil. This your act was preplanned.
If your husband no hustle you go complain that he is a lazy bone, now he tried to give you food and all you could do is to bath him with hot oil.
A friend called you telling you that your husband is involved in a crime, what if that friend of yours had called you out of jealousy seeing that your husband was begining to pick up the pieces of his life finacially, just to ruin your marriage
And again, why did you not go to the police with the Intel you got from that your so called friend about your husband's alleged criminal conduct, but will rather choose to bath him with hot oil?
Una see why I no fit blame any man who has decided not to marry at all? If this man was not married to this woman shebi she for no pour am this hot oil
Madam you wicked😏

Thank God it wasn’t acid undecided

She was only trying to defend herself reason she poured him hot oil. It was just a self defense.

The man made money through dubious deal and planned to run away to another country leaving his wife behind. He couldn’t even give her 1 kobo and he also had the effrontery to beat her up undecided.

In his next life he won’t do such again.

I hope you are not planning to pour your own husband either hot oil or acid any moment soon aunty
