This works because the fabric acts as a diffusion agent, slowly releasing the fragrance over time. Just be sure to test a small area first to ensure the perfume doesn't stain or damage the material.

Use a perfume fixative:

A perfume fixative is a type of ingredient that is added to perfumes to help them last longer. Fixatives can include natural ingredients like resins, gums, and absolutes, as well as synthetic ingredients like polymers and silicones.
They work by trapping the fragrance molecules and preventing them from evaporating too quickly, allowing the perfume to last longer.
Look for perfumes that contain fixatives, or try adding a few drops of a fixative essential oil (like frankincense or myrrh) to your perfume.
