Eko Ile:

Def' a lie and and misrepresentation. Below is what the governor said.

He said there is a housing market for middle and upper income strata of our society which is true, there are rich people in Lagos state too and all he's saying is, let's get get in there and make some money for the state too and redirect the state's profits to what he said in (d) about social services.

Lying is evil.

The truth is only a governor that is insentisitive to the plight of the common man would make such a comment. The truth is the upper class in the society does not NEED government to build houses for them. They can use their hundreds of millions to buy houses. It is the lower and middle income masses that really need the intervention of govt to make life more comfortable for themselves. How many houses/market has Fashola built for common man in Lagos?
We all know how Jakande and even Tinubu tried to provide some housing schemes for the ordinary man, Fashola has failed in this regard, that is the bitter truth.
By the way, I have sympathy for the ACN as a party, but the truth must be told

Adaranijo of orile Agege and some other chairmen were imposed on people for the 3rd time. The same people were calling OBJ names when he tried 3rd term agenda . What is the different between ACN and PDP useless people. Is time we librate ourselves from these useless leaders, this is best time for Revolution

Can somebody help me, what happened to LP during this last election? I thought they will be a substitute to the imposition galore going on in ACN.

Sincerely, ACN is gradually loosing steam. I hope they will still be a force to reckon with come 2014. ACN is synonymous to IMPOSITION. And that is what will bring their downfall.

People alleged that ACN rigged the LG election in Lagos State. That is to say, ACN isn't a saint. Then what makes ACN to be different from others?

The State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prince Olayokun Adesina, said there were lots of irregularities at different polling units during the exercise.

According to him, “…at Agboroko, Iba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), our agents were beaten up by ACN members, we had to withdraw them. Even the PDP refused to sign the result sheets.

ACN is worse than the PDP in terms of ballot stocking. shocked In Coker Aguda, Itire-Ikate LCDA, there were a lot of irregularities. LASIEC officials colluded with ACN to rig us out by bringing a box containing only ACN thumb print of over 90 votes,” Adesina said

Chairman of the Congress of Progressive Change (CPC) in the state, Chief Ajibade Emi-abatta, described the election as “winner-takes-all”.

According to him, the poor turnout of voters during the election is a reflection of the distrust Nigerians have in the country’s local government system.

“There was apathy in the election; people were not coming out. People don’t trust the government any more because they believe their vote will not count. (abeg not in Fashola's Lagos- Eko o ni baje )

“People are not happy about the way government is handling the citizenry; and it’s unfortunate in Lagos in the sense that you pay tax on everything you touch.

“Even if you urinate, you pay tax (politicians sabi exaggerate sha! ) and then you are not having the best of it and that is what I think brought the apathy.”
