..."A lot of people with one underlying ailment or the other are dying In silence because they cannot afford the exorbitant hospital bills"

Omo Alausa Foundation through its founder, Dr. Olayinka Alausa organized and sponsored a free medical outreach for the people of Lagos Central Division and its environs on the 21st of October, 2023.

Dr. Olayinka Alausa through its foundation's media and publicity director in person of Mr. Oyelara Saheed Adekunle said, “ The major objective of the outreach is to bring health care services closer to the community at zero cost, because access to primary medical care is a big challenge now, how much more tertiary.

He emphasized the purpose of this gesture is to ensure the improvement of the well being of people to survive and develop so as to add to the economic development of the nation. An healthy body is an active body.

Over 245 beneficiaries across the 9 local governments In Lagos Central Division enjoyed the free medical services. The aged, children and Persons living with disabilities (PWD) benefitted from the outreach, including the children and the elderly people.

The outreach services covered checkups and treatment of various ailments such as;

👉Blood glucose estimation
👉Blood pressure measurement
👉Body Mass Index
👉General Health Education
👉Free consultation
👉Distribution of free Drugs to all.
👉 General Medical Checkup .

Furthermore, Omo Alausa Foundation Medical Director, Dr. Taiwo Tijani, delivered an health talk on different ailments such as malaria , diabetes, high blood pressure etc... during his lecture to the beneficiaries, he also advised them to always go for regular checkup at any nearby medical centre, they should not wait until they fall sick , he also advised all not to use any drugs without doctor’s prescription or advice.

Dr. Taiwo ended his lecture by appreciating all the medical team menbers, the free medical outreach committee from the foundation, the council of chiefs and Obas in Lagos central division, the chiefs and people of Onimole palace and it's environment and to crown it all Dr. Olayinka Alausa ( Founder of Omo Alausa Foundation) for his support to the people of Lagos State and Nigeria in ensuring that Nigeria attains universal health coverage.
