The new HP 630 laptop seems to be one of the best affordable sales currently, thinkin of buying one to replace my dead old laptop but it appears people talks about its ''THERMAL SHUTDOWN'' problem (search via google) as in the screen goes out almost all the time by making some annoying multiple lines and colours, then shuts down and restarts giving an error message. Please any HP 630 model user here having this problem? Is this general to all 630 models? Should i go ahead and buy this or please suggest any other HP affordable laptop model for me. Urgently needed. Thanks. |

i'm also using hp 630 and had read all those stuff on google. i felt very bad becos i've already purchased the laptop. but since i started using it i've not experienced any of the issues they raised. |

It happened to my HP DV6000 laptop. That is the syptom of burnt VGA chip on the motherboard due to excessive heat and its common wit HP Pavillion Series particularly DV6000 that have AMD processors. Though I dnt knw if the problem too is common with HP 630. Just ensure ur laptop is properly ventilated. |

Nope havent heard of any such problems for now, so far from the ones i've sold. |
