Villagers reportedly apprehended a man accused of fatally stabbing his own wife in Benue state.

According to eyewitnesses, the suspect, identified as Bem Mathew, allegedly turned to violence, using a knife that tragically claimed his wife’s life following a heated argument.

The tragic event took place in the serene environs of Korinya city, Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State.

Villagers confronted the husband, and paraded him. Placing the lifeless body of the victim beside him.

As at the time of this report, local security operatives have been notified as details of the incident is still sketchy.
