Tell me a state that is performing better than Ogun state in the southeast
Is it Abia that until recently owed doctors 30 months salary or Anambra that doctors had to go on 13 months strike over poor pay!
grin

Same Ogun people are still drink mud water?

Same Ogun state skull mining capital?

Same Ogun that Anambra tops in GDP? grin

Same Ogun that senate President was complaining about him being stuck in bad road?

Same Ogun with highest number of out of school children in southern Nigeria?

Same Ogun that thier airport is like car park? grin

IGR is generated by companies

Companies do indirect taxing from you factory working SW peasants the leverage increase in salary to paying taxes grin

I laff at the developers' region's IGR..

oops....they are busy developing other regions grin grin grin grin grin grin

Ogun: N120.6bn is 6.06bn more than the combined IGR of the whole South East of 114.54bn (1. Anambra: N33.97bn; 2. Enugu: N28.69bn; 3. Abia: N20.11bn; 4. Imo: N19.34bn; 5. Ebonyi: N12.43bn).

Developers...How market

Oya REMOVE Lagos:

SW without Lagos: 257.1bn > SE 114.54bn

grin grin grin grin grin

grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Oya Multiply SE IGR by 2 = 114.54 * 2 = 229.08bn

SW without Lagos: 257.1bn is 28.02bn more than Twice of SE IGR 114.54bn * 2 = 229.08bn

grin grin grin grin

OYA remove Lagos and Ogun State:

SW without Lagos & Ogun State: 136.5bn is 21.96bn more than SE 114.54bn

Irony1:

you are now shifting posts, you were here boasting about how your state IGR is higher than the south east.

Which goal posts? Is the thread not about IGR only. Wasn't it compared in the report when it was stated that Lagos state alone is bigger than 4 regions combined together? Abeg, shift to one side and let me see front!

Simple. We are discussing IGR here, whether you store imaginary $1m inside one ancient kolo in your house in the name of prosperity, that one is irrelevant here.

I wonder ooo... We're talking about A, he's mentioning B. 😆😂

[quote author=Dikastan post=126587814]Lagos should be far more developed than what it is today if not for the cabals that hijacked the state funds. Look at huge billions and ask yourself what have they achieved with it? Closing markets here and there[/quote

Oga shut up first and stop being half clever, yes it is about IGR, but dingbats you have already started saying rubbish talking about osun being bigger, now you have cunningly tried to shift to Lagos.
It is a clear fact even to a dumbhead like you that IGR is not a true measure of economic prosperity, but GDP and Per capita income is.

Stop displaying ignorance here, I know the angle you are coming from.

IGR is a function of GDP, if a state GDP is low definitely their IGR will be low unless those state governments are giving tax reliefs to few pioneer companies which may be in form of capital allowance or CIT which only Federal Inland Revenue can grant
Thank you very much for correcting that miscreant.
