It is really terrible now. All thanks to buhari and tinubu combined. Feeding is hard now and business nosedived. If there is anyone to loan me some money to resuscitate my business, please text me on WhatsApp . I have an uncompleted building I can use as collateral. The strong don turn weak like this 😭😭

I wonder the kind of country we are in now, people are going through hell on earth. Day before yesterday,I and my wife went to the hospital for antenatal checkup...as my wife entered to take some lectures,it didn't take long when some guys started begging for some money to take care of their needs and the worst part is that, after the fellow left I moved to another section of the hospital,a woman with her daughter whom after getting her bills still walked straight to me that she needed #1,500 to complete her bills and that she told them to reduce the cost and the cashier refused and I wondered how she would ask them to reduce the bills for her drugs just to have some balance.

After her explanation,I had to offer some help to pay
her bills.

Yesterday,I was at the mechanic to fix my wife's car,I met all the mechanic some sleeping, while some gisting about the last match. Lo and behold, after some time, one of the mechanic whispered to me that he had not eaten since morning and that was around 1pm and he started lamenting that things have gone bad and I joined him nodding my head in response. And he asked me,that hope Wike is not going to demolish their village houses, that he was very worried about it.

Today,I just parked some where around Central area here in Abuja just to wait and pick my wife up,someone met me where j parked and begged to help him to eat...I asked him how much he needed and he said, just 300 naira. I was shocked and surprised at the same time.

Additional,at around federal mininistry of finance I stopped by to buy cold drink and a woman begged me to join me to stop any where along the road and she even lamented to me how the cost of transport is affecting their finances.

I just had to open up to the woman that I am not going her way and she kept begging me,I had to ask the aboki to pls, give the madam my 300naira balance.

My people, the country and the people especially the poor are bleeding oh...help as much u can and pls,do it irrespective of tribe...all of these people weren't my tribe that I can say,but it doesn't mean my tribal people are not feeling the heat and begging some where too.

It is simply bad out there.

May God help us all.

Most of these people suffering will still vote according to religion and tribe during the next election.

The worst is that they're the ones suffering the most.

The average Igbo man I wired to adapt and survive in any condition he finds himself. But you see those scar face people, their case is something else.

Go to states like Ekiti, Oyo, Osun...etc, you'll see poverty in all its Glory and splendor. Yet Igbos are their problem.

More than 99% of those posting account details here on Nairaland to beg for money are yourbas. Yet their all mighty strategist is in power.
Not true. The above states you listed are farming states and bad as e bad, food is still relatively cheap there.

That being said. I think everyone should actively engage in farming right now. There is no shame in relocating to the village where you will have acres of land at your disposal instead of starving slowly in the cities. People should start to wake up to this reality.

Sometimes i just feel weak, this days the hardship is just too much. When has a family man you dont have upto #200 in your hand for a whole week. How do you want to take care of your family, when transport don chop your money finish.

If there were jobs, things wouldn't be as hard as it is. But no jobs anywhere... Even bread bakery, the manager told me with a smile that they are even trying to cut staffs

Imagine one person handling almost 3 roles.

Exactly many people want to die in cities especially Lagos while paying high rent and in the village where u will have low rent with more comfortable apartment and it will even give u more edge to build with ur low income and eat comfortably unlike in the cities ..

I think d time is getting closer now

Go and check front page, they posted underage of igbo girls that were arrested in Anambra, maybe Anambra not igbo again.

I know u won't find time to ask, because ur mental stability needed to be treated, going by the way one yoruba guy is fuckkkin ur mama, and little money is giving her ,she is not given u from it, and that making u angry and crazy.

........ I will help u by telling u reason, why anambra girls full brothel, poverty has completely swept igbo, a third class tribe in Nigeria, in other to feed, igbo now send their teenager daughters to the street. I think people have tired of their mama pusssssy already.

If I start narrating my daily ordeal as a single mom of 2 kids in this perilous times.. some would tag it begging.

Honestly...the days are hard down here in Nigeria....our private school teaching salary never changes yet prices of commodities kept increasing on daily basis.

It takes only the grace of God not to compromise... despite having a hectic week at work...I couldn't sleep soundly cos of the thoughts of survival...no gas ...no foodstuff yet I work heavily from 7am-6pm daily.....kids tuition increased... rent increased...my tuition increased.....but I appreciate God for the sound health of my kids and I.

I just pray God sees us through it all.

Exactly why I gave up on them.

They have made BLESSED people like me
with a Heart Of Gold and also who wants the best for them to hardened our Hearts.

It's not easy to be successful in this part of the world and yet still have a Heart Of Gold. Many people who solely figured it out on Nigerian Soil are Hardened Monsters.

What a Foolish and Useless beings.

To live in Nigeria and be sane is to be in a constant state of ''Empathic Distress'' all the time.

You will see so much hopelessness and suffering, that it seems like the sufferers have evolved, adapted, and modified themselves to integrate seamlessly well in their despair.

Then for your own sanity, you too will evolve to numb yourself to the pain, after all, you also have your own challenges, you also need help, and you need every strength in you to save yourself first.
