I chose Peter Obi over Tinubu because I had and still have more faith in the former than in the latter but since the highest court in the land has affirmed him, then I congratulate him too. Lagos was a former FCT whereas Anambra was nothing especially in education and in economy. Back in the day, Anambra boys ended only in primary schools and headed straight to onitsha for boy boy unlike today that they go to school. You that wrote nonsense probably started hearing Anambra after Peter became the governor. The man continues to live the life everyone admires in a leader unlike Tinubu that brought billion van of money during an election. I'm not from Anambra but I was there towards the end of Ngige and was there during Obi administration. Yes, Ngige did good roads and people still love him because of that singular act. Few things I can tell you about Peter administration. Peter stopped chop I chop politics in Anambra and people started seeing their money work for them. Before him, Anambra dared not compete in anything education. The kind of standard he set on education can still not be matched and education formal or informal is number one thing that can change a nation. Peter did several roads to open up many hidden farming communities and granted them assess to major markets in cities. Peter did very good in security as well. You dared not carry black nylon in onitsha before he came on board because robbers would cut off your hands. Do I need to talk about civil servants salaries and pensions. The major thing I love about him is that he demilitarized politics in Anambra and stopped people from diverting state wealth. His predecessors kept paying godfathers all Anambra allocations. Ngige fell out with his own godfather because his godfather Chris Ubah was too greedy to give him high repayment amount that if he had accepted to do that, he wouldn't even have money to pay himself salary talkless of doing any work as governor. If not that, everyone knew he would've been flogged in line like the governor before him. I'm not from Anambra but I did pre science in Mbaukwu and later schooled at unizik so I know the state too well. Bigotry aside, Peter is a good candidate for Aso rock to stop money politics in this country. Give Peter 8years as president and I bet you, only people willing to serve will be contesting elections. As long as he works with good team that thinks like him, the man can change politics in this country.
