A Nollywood actor named Williams Uchemba has counselled women not to wed unemployed guys.

In a video that was uploaded on his Instagram page, the actor claimed that a woman’s main role is to assist and support her spouse rather than to provide for him financially.

Williams said that when they were dating, he saw that his wife frequently went shopping whenever she visited him.

He told her to never ask for money for anything and that he had to stop her.

He stated that although it is reasonable when a woman must become the earner because of her circumstances, she should run if she feels comfortable having her husband assist her because she puts in a lot of effort.
