Seeking Advice: Everest Base Camp Trek Vs. Kilimanjaro - Need Insight! by BullEyeees: 8:11pm On Oct 31, 2023
Hi everyone,

I'm currently planning a trekking adventure and I'm torn between the Everest Base Camp Hike and climbing Kilimanjaro. I would really appreciate some guidance from those who have experienced either or both of these incredible journeys.

Duration: Could someone please share the typical duration for each of these treks? I want to plan my schedule accordingly.
Best Time: I'm wondering about the best time to undertake either of these treks to ensure the most favorable weather conditions. Any advice on the ideal months for each trek?

Difficulty Level: How would you compare the difficulty levels between the Everest Base Camp and the Kilimanjaro climb? I'm relatively fit, but I want to make sure I'm prepared for the challenges ahead.

Preparation: What kind of physical preparation should I focus on before embarking on either of these treks? Are there any specific training exercises I should consider?

Packing: I'd love some insights on what essentials I should pack for these treks. Any particular gear or equipment recommendations that proved to be invaluable during your journey?

Thank you all in advance for your help and advice. I'm excited to hear about your experiences and any tips you have for making the most of these incredible adventures!

Warm regards,
