And so he should lunge at the attacker? What are you guys saying? Walking away was a way to diffuse the situation. Your best defence from a gunman is to create as much distance between you both as much as possible. Better yet, walks backwards, but turning his back shows he is no longer interested in the confrontation and that makes the crime more premeditated.

I hope you also read that the attacker went to the two prone bodies and fired off at least 2 more shots execution style.
That is why trying to disarm him would have been the best option

Another person will tell you that:
"It is better to be a Lion for a day than a sheep for all your life."

But also they say: "A living Dog is better than a dead Lion."

Two contradictory sayings.

Well, different strokes for different folks

Read the situation critically before taking up the relevant character. grin This life nor be black and white o. What is good for Monday morning may not be good for Monday evening. cheesy

Very correct

Be turned his back on a man aiming gun at him, life's mot Hollywood where we form James bond

What would you've done different?
That dead man in his mind was praying for 10secs more just to get to the door and lock himself in.
If he had brought out a gun in the first place instead of a scissors am sure both men would have chickened out to a latter date.

In conclusion: America is not a place to have a quarell or rift with anyone not even a kid.
If you're wrong or right...just apologies, smile and Japa!

You see short people without neck.

Avoid them

E get why.

Well... Research shows that a lot of them suffer from constant taunting and demoralizing bullying.

This is what makes them naturally prone to anger and violence, ESPECIALLY if they have to look up to the bully.

Bro, he should have done any and everything to preserve his own life even if it means scrubbing the guy's floors.

The person holding the gun has the upper hand in any and every physical encounter.

Once gun enters the matter, your common sense of self-preservation should take precedence over your pride or ego.
and that's why I emphasized that it won't work. the shooter had shot at the fleeing boy and the two lying bodies. A situation where they were both defenceless and posed no threat to him. There was literally nothing they could have done but run from him. Kneeling or begging will even inflame the killer's anger.

In addition, the suspect in this dirty drama will now be full of regret and the remaining of his life will never be the same again.
He will be confined and not be able to do whatever he wishes again in his life.
People need to make a choice between staying home with your family or spending the rest of your life behind bars if not sentenced to death.
If truly you know the consequence of an action is not going to be good, why carry out the action.?
May God continue to protect us from all evils.

Watch the video again... When the gun came out, what did the victim do?!! What was the first wrong thing he did?!!

He didn't even flee or try to flee... He casually and dismissively walked away with his back turned on the gunman.

Who does that?!! Answer: those who have no regard for the threats posed by others.

Why will you be living in Brooklyn, Chicago, Philly and even arguing with anyone , most people in these places are frustrated and ready to kill

Whenever I am in the US, I become a "Yes sir" man, I don't argue or publicly disagree with anyone be it the police, Walmart staff, homeless folk, in traffic... I no dey argue at allll.

If they tell me blue is pink, wetin consign me, I am always like; "Yes Sir!"

Everytime police stops me in a car, they always end up laughing because I drop my famous disclaimer of; "first of all I would like to state that I am a straight black man, and I am unarmed, the suspicious bump on my thigh is actually my g-unit at a relaxed state. I am ready to strip for further search and confirmation"

Me I no like wahala grin

Its CCTV. Most Apartment blocks have CCTV in the general area . Also most Uk and US homes have door bells cameras that records video and sound very clearly .

If you think and believe you're right, then you're definitely right and it doesn't concern me..

The wife is complicit in all these. Why pulling the husband by the shirt? She shudda allowed two grown men settle their scores. Dragging him by the shirt distorted his original reason of confrontation, and thereby enabled his poor judgment and assessment of the situation, becos that act infuriated him also.

THE POLICE KILLED THATMAN BECAUSE HE HAD A GOOD CHANCE OF CLAIMING SELF DEFENCE.

ESPECIIALLY, IF ONLY HE KILLED THE MAN AND LEFT THE BOY, NO PROBLEM.

THEIR ANGER IS THE WAY HE SHOT THE BOY.

1 SHOT IS ENOUGH AT CLOSE RANGE.

GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO SURVIVE.

FINISH THE ONE THAT POINTED SCISSOR IN YOUR FACE.
if u were a lawyer, your clients will just keep losing shocked. The victim was already walking away and was shot at the back, how was the man's life in danger? You can only claim self-defense if you were in immediate danger if you didn't take the action you took, the video clearly showed everything shocked

They have never been sane and the US itself never pretended it is so when their society GOP made laws that give rights to buy assort rifles to even people with poor mental health. It is only the low self-esteemed Nigerians with inferiority complex who coined that phrase 'sane society' in their complex. US has the highest level of mass shootings in the whole world and life is so cheap there!
