BREAKING: Uzodimma arrests NLC President Joe Ajaero

The President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Mr. Joe Ajaero has been arrested by Police on the orders of Gov. Hope Uzodimma.

The NLC president was in Imo State to lead a protest against Uzodimma's government for owing workers and pensioners over 42 months arrears and declaring thousands of civil servants and pensioners ghost workers and pensioners.

He was picked at the NLC secretariat in Owerri on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, and taken to an unknown destination.

What is Uzodimma afraid of? A failed leader always fears the people. But he is now a drowning man, as his defeat on November 11 is non-negotiable.
