The Face of Ibom Gist Crown Contest is organized by Ibom Gist, a group that aims to put smiles on the faces of Akwa Ibom people. The group is a pan Akwa Ibom initiative that unites Akwa Ibom people both at home and in the diaspora with genuine love for communal growth and coexistence. The group also engages in various humanitarian and community development projects that make a positive impact on the society.

The contest is open to both male and female contestants who are between the ages of 18 and 30, and who are residents or indigenes of Akwa Ibom State. The contest is not only a platform for entertainment, but also a means of empowerment and social responsibility. The winner of the contest will receive cash prizes of Fifty Thousand (₦50,000) Naira, modeling contracts, and opportunities to represent Ibom Gist in national and international events. The winners will also serve as ambassadors of Ibom Gist for one year and participate in various community development projects of the initiative.

The contest is scheduled to hold on Friday, November 12, 2023 and end on December 20, 2023 on the Group’s official page. The winner shall be crowned during the end of the celebration dinner of the Group. Registration for the contest is ongoing and will end on November 05, 2023. Interested contestants can register by sending a WhatsApp message to 08032563522. The registration fee is ₦2,000 only.
