The Bible made it clear to us that we have an enemy(devil), his work is to move around looking for people he will devour. The enemy never gets tired because that is his work.

The enemy’s plans are plain to the Christians who are discerning, his plans are stated in John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I have come that you may have life, and have it to the full. The plan of Jesus for us is to have life in abundant, that is why He gave us the authority to bind the enemy in the book of Matthew 16:19 I will give you the key of heaven, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loose in heaven.

The authority has been given to us to bind the enemy; it is up to us to use the key. But first, you have to identify yourself with the master of the key JESUS for it to be effective.

Weapons Used in Binding the Enemy

The Word of God: Hebrews 4:12-13 for the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. When we are grounded by the word it’s easier to bind the enemy because nothing is hidden before God.
The name of Jesus: There is power in the name of Jesus, Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. the same authority is given to us to bind the enemy in the name of Jesus.
When you discern, that the enemy is trying to steal your joy, bind the chief in the name of Jesus Christ. When you discern, that the enemy is trying to interfere in your relationship, bind the destroyer in the name of Jesus Christ. When you discern, that the enemy is trying to bring sickness to your doorstep, bind the infirmity demons in the name of Jesus Christ.

After you bind the enemy, be sure to loose the blessings of God. Never bind without loosing.
