They have successfully reduced NLC/TUC to a passive toothless bulldog living only to pursue selfish interest.

and by November 14th/15th, 2023, midnight, you will read that the strike has been suspended. A strike that has never started. We are in Nigeria. My opinion though.

NLC that should be a beacon of hope for this country and should control and determine what kind of government comes to power or even revolt on anything that show to be a political sabotage of the people has become a toothless peacock under Jude ajero to a point where NLC has become tissue paper and their president beaten to pulp. It tells clearly why being a betrayer of the people and the country comes with it ownconsequence. Where is emefiele ?

Nlc is a waste of an organization, they are toothless bull dogs who just love barking without biting . Tinubu already see them as noise makers which makes the apc govt never take them serious. They keep announcing strikes since subsidy removal but they can’t even strike for 1 hour . They will postpone the strike till I am 140 years old . Jokers of a union who just want to bark to receive their peanuts from the govt . Nlc/tuc shame on you

Throwback:

So NLC and national strike is now the instrument used by a single man to right any wrong done to him?

And you say you want power to provide a new Nigeria, yet already intoxicated with Union power.
The way some of you reason baffles me. Everything is a room for playing ethnic card. NLC is Nigeria Labour Congress not Ajaero Labour Congress. NLC helmsman is attacked and they chose to retaliate against the government brigandage and you this to say?
If NLC chairman can be attacked and nothing is done labour is finished. No matter how how you think about it, NLC is still a viable tool against this evil government Nigeria is blessed with. In fact they have kept quiet for long probably because they are thinking of Nigeria first. How do u justify the current salary with the cost of living now?
In as much as strike is bad but Nigeria govt is purely undemocratic in most of her dealings

Raskimonojendor:
Politicians and rich people plus their families won't be affected. NLC will only end up intensifying the suffering of the masses.

They declared a nationwide strike for selfish reasons..All because political thugs beat a partisan union leader that's trying to meddle into an election. It doesn't make sense why a Katsina resident should suffer for an action that happened in Imo state.

They should please extend it till middle of next year.

So what's funny
Last I checked, you're neither a politician nor rich
You're also among the suffering masses

How is it worth it? The NLC under the leadership of Ajero is clearly partisan. He was said to have been attacked by political thugs because he wanted to cause issues for their principal.
So because of such person, vital places like the hospital should shut down national wide so that children, elderly and other innocent people who depend on the care should die! It is not even a selected set of workers! Haba! It is not justified to punish people for a partisan labour leader. If this strike is not call off, it will fragments the NLC eventually, mark my word.
You mean that he is lying that police attacked him because he is Partisan sad

As you don't have sense, this is the best time to force the hand of the sitting government to pay up those outstanding, now that he's seeking reelection, is it after he's declared winner for a second term, a tenure that they hardly work in office, that you expect him to pay up backlog? Make some of una dey remove sentiment dey use una head small.

clearcrystal:
They are not serious.

Ajaero suddenly remembered that Imo State workers were owed 56 months areas barely 2 weeks to the governorship election.
His organized protest last week was politically motivated that's why he was beaten mercilessly.
Ajaero is nothing but a sillyyy Obidient.

I'm sure the mumu man will call of the strike before 14th November.

Sentimental social media warlords full this Nairaland, defending criminality and actions of the state against harmless civilian(s), not to even mention the maltreatment of the person of Nigeria Labour Union chairman. One day, same bãd treatment will get to each and every one of you and your families.
So bad sharing same country with these set of F00.ls.
