I won't say the state this happened.

At first I didn't clearly understood what he meant because he initially said, I should return what left his body.

What looked like a funny claim in my ear turned serious as he started shouting and calling the attention of passers by. People started encircling us and the guy who accused me said we are going to police station, I was like why will I follow you to station when I didn't do anything wrong.

One of the passers by said I should just follow him if I know I am truly Innocent since the station is not far. I had no choice that to follow them to prove my innocence ( the accuser and the passer-by) with many thoughts on my mind.
On our way I resolved to call all the important people I know that can get me out of this mess. I first dialed my dad's number and started explaining what was going on before the guy said I should cut the call that we must go to that station or else he will collect my phone.

Eventually we arrived there, and met two police men inside the station compound, then my accuser started laying claim of his stolen manhood story. I was called to narrate what happened and I told them I just left the market gate after purchasing all I needed from the market only to be falsely accused.

The two officer took us inside the station to write a statement. After the accuser narrated his story once more, one of the officer was laughing.
The police asked what I do for a living and I told him I am a medical Doctor and the hospital I work. He asked the accuser same question who said he is a university student and doesn't stay far from the market. He asked of both our phone numbers and also gave out his number to us. Then he asked the accuser to put his hand in his trouser to confirm if his manhood is there, the guy touched and the manhood was there.

He then started saying that initially he didn't feel anything there that there have been cases like that in his school and that he was shocked that the thing happened to him that's why he dragged the case to the station.

The police then said that he has been hearing about this stealing of manhood and that people can do diabolical things for money. However, it could also be that his mind might be playing tricks on him as such he felt his penis might be missing when it actuality it is actually there.

The police man said I should go that since the guy has confirmed his penis is intact, there is no case. He said I shouldn't be annoyed that if I were in the guy's shoes I might as well do the same . He also said that it could be that it actually happened but me being there at the wrong time and being there when he felt such that he will easily take the person close by as the culprit. I felt relieved but at the same time angry for been falsely accused and my time wasted for something as dumb as this.

When we were going outside the station, the guy who falsely accused me was dragging his foot and kept working very slow such that I was at a far distance in the front. The passer-by that followed us early was apologizing to me, that I shouldn't be angry.

Damn, I was just feeling different emotions. However, I thank God nothing happened to me ( I wasn't hurt and no mob action or jungle justice), nothing was missing and I came back home safe and fine.

My dad who is in another state got worried when I called earlier. If something had happened to me that guy will have had the worst day of his life. The kind of people that will have come for him eh.

There were 2 things on my mind. It's either that guy did it intentionally to put me in trouble or he is delusional ( superstitious) and/or actually suffering from Koro syndrome.

Help move this to Fp so everyone can be aware of this.

I not only felt like suing him but beating the sh*t out of him.

I totally get you.
The people that gathered around you in the market should have also followed to the police station and waited for the truth so as to descend heavy beating on the false accuser to prevent him from pulling up such stunt again in future. angry
That's how an innocent old woman was almost lynched last month.

In a sane climate, the police would have kept the idiot behind bars for like 2 days.

Dear Op,

The Police was very diplomatic in resolving the issue...Hope they did not collect cash as settlement from you.

Anyway, at the scene where the issue started, you would've caused a commotion by telling the crowd to check the guy's diick or rant that the guy is a scammer.

One needs to be careful this ember months.
When the crowd is gentle don't raise their curiosity.
Remember, NIGERIANS are already angry.

If they are punished for such blatant false accusations, then there will be drastic reduction in such ill-mannered behavior.
That's how such kind of cases are reduced at Mararaba Nyanya axis, most of the accusers are now in jail.

Go and do serious thanksgiving... some were accused similarly and didn't come out alive.

Lol....😅

I recall long-time ago as an undergraduate, when a bus driver accused me of being a pickpocket in his bus.

I was amazed as the driver abused me, tried to hit me and then asked the passenger I sat next to to check if his money was intact.

Things are happening in naija. It's only God's mercies that saw me through that situation.

It happened to my brother in my presence in 2007 or there about. My brother crossed the street to where his shop was and a guy of about 16-17 crossed the road with him.
He said he should return his manhood.
My brother was like. "Are you okay?"
The guy insisted and people gathered. Thank God it was his office area so, everyone knows him.
The people told the young guy to remove this pant which he did. And there was his blokos dangling like pendulum.
"Sebi you said your penis disappeared," one of the guys in the crowd said.
"Yes, it's back and it's not standing," the iddiatt said.
People started laughing.
"How will it stand when there is nothing that can arouse you here. You are mad"
One of the people said. He was about to start beating the boy when people begged him to leave him.
The boy left the scene with shame.

What I thought was may be he thought my brother will offer him money to not shout.
Nigeria is a strange place on the planet.

Me I'd have instituted a case of false accusation, attempted murder and fraud against him and told the police to detain him since we were already in a police station.

You were just lucky with that crowd, You could have lost your life. People have been lynched in similar circumstances.

'Conspiracy to bring false accusation' carries a minimum sentence of 7 years imprisonment in the Criminal Code Act of Nigeria (Section 125)

We need to start teaching criminal conspirators/false accusers lessons.

You need to toughen up.

It is a scam and they wanted to obtain you.

It could have gotten very messy.

They pick people who look gentle moneyed and easily intimidated

You should have raised serious hell in the station and gotten that guy arrested.

Though the police may also be in on the scam

Why and how did this manhood theft madness began still baffles me.First it started in Kogi state and from there spread to other parts of the country. This ultimately proves that mentally imbalanced humans greatly outnumber sane ones here.
The Op is very lucky indeed that he was not mobbed by bloodthirsty animals calling themselves humans and those around him weren't.
Extremely harsh punishment should be meted out to animals who raise false alarms of manhood theft. That is how they set up innocent souls to be lynched.
10 years in prison with hard labour is a prerequisite punishment for such animals.
The awareness NL has given to this trick or fraud has been helpful. People now know it is fraudulent.
Also maybe OP is a quiet person

If you lose your pen!s, you should go naked for all to see there is no pen!s. Afterall is it not pen!s that the cloth covers?

the OP should be thankful. This life is delicate, one should live it with wisdom and intelligence. Anger doesn't solve anything, it only leads to destruction. Anger will only destroy all what you're and worked for over the years. And even people offends you wrongly, and after apologizing to you, don't retaliate by fighting back, some people are walking corpse already, just need a trigger to go to the great beyond. If you fight and unintentional kill someone out of anger, nothing concerns the police that it's a mistake and unintentional, you are sure going to jail for murder.

You should have pressed charges and dealt with him.

I witnessed this too a few weeks back in Kubwa, Abuja. Someone accused another guy who was sitting close to my friends and I in a particular lounge we were hanging out in. In our own case, we called the police ourselves and threatened the man who was laying the claim that we will deal with him if it turns out to be a lie.

We even asked him to open his trousers and when he did, it was still there, though small. He then changed his story to the man reduced it or something. We stood our ground that he was lying.

Anyway, after a few minutes, the useless guy who was accusing someone took off. He started running. He was pursued and captured. They started beating him before the police came and took him away.

This whole thing has been a big lie. People are just trying to settle vendetta and steal and cause chaos.
