CHECK OUT MUAMMAR GADDAFI'S LEADERSHIP IN LIBYA.

1.    There was no electricity bill in Libya; electricity was free for all its citizens

2.    There was no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0%, interest by law

3.    Home considered a human right in Libya – Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home Gaddafi’s father has died while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent

4.    All newly weds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family

5.    Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83%

6.    Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms –all for free

7.    If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/mth accommodation and car allowance

8.    In Libyan, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price

9.    The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 (N22) per litre

10.  Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally

11.  If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.

12.  A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens

13.  A mother who gave birth to a child receive US$5,000

14.  Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man- Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country

So what was really the problem with Libya and Ghaddafi?

A reader says; “I TESTIFY TO THE ABOVE. I spent 3 month in Libya in 2003, the experience was unforgettable. I wonder what went wrong with him”. Libyans wanted a change in leadership after ruling for so long, verifiable that he ruled for about forty- two years and Ghaddafi's major problem was that he was sponsoring terrorism.

Another reader says; the question is not what went wrong with him but why the people decided to listen to their enemies and destroyed their God giving country. Was shocked myself when a friend that lived in Tripoli told me of his good deeds when he got back from there during the war. Though he wasn't an Angel because no one is, but still one of the best comparing to other world leaders I’ve heard of.

Gaddafi's human rights record is terrible

You can't claim to love a people collectively, but hate a good number individually (i.e. those that disagreed with him). Gaddafi crushed any dissenting voice ruthlessly and was happy to turn Libya into his family's kingdom, grooming his son to take over.

No matter how many carrots you give them, history has shown that people do not put up with that kind of oppression forever.

I commend him for his socialist policies, they are certainly better than the Nigerian leadership who seemed to just appropriate the nation's wealth for themselves without improving the lot of the people.

Come to think of it, NIGERIA, Our Great Country; the thieves that ruled us only 8yrs and even more, did any of them achieve any thing for us in this list?

∙         7 point agenda; no catalyst to continue the vision, or did they even share in it?

∙         4 Point agenda; where in the world is that list now?

∙         Electricity plan; we’re still awaiting its manifestation

∙         N18, 000 Minimum wage; a problem for the state as they claim that F.G is yet to implement an increase in budget allocation, who is actually fooling who?

∙         NOW the most irrational decision ever took by a Leader; Removal of FUEL SUBSIDY. If this country is difficult to rule, can they just leave it the way it is, because, things can never get better with all the prayer we’ve been praying, for wisdom and knowledge to rule, God is definitely against the suffering of his people. Remember what happened to the children of Israel?

Someone please pass this message on.
