Joint security operatives have intercepted LP party chieftain, one Hon. Okafor Gabriel in possession of election materials of the INEC in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

Mr. Hon. Okafor Gabriel, was caught with possession of the INEC Permanent Voter Cards, ballot papers as well as total sum of 183million naira. He was arrested around Anara in isiala mbano Local Government of Imo State.

Mr Okafor admitted that the materials were given to him on Friday night by a party member.

The State Police boss said investigations would continue into the matter.
