Always read before commenting. It is clearly written there that his Uncle forced him to study Accounting but he loves Sociology. He worked and retired with UBA as an Accountant.

He retired as a Deputy General Manager after 35 years in UBA having worked in Ibadan and transferred to Lagos Head Office.
He was my boss and had always been a thorn in the flesh of his half educated colleagues to go back to school and acquire more knowledge.
I wasn't surprised to read this news but I can't believe Mr Sanni Farouk can still hold on to his idea about education even after retirement.
I will not be surprised if Sociology UI decided to retain him as a Lecturer to complete his PhD.
Lesson learned: Never Give up !
