In the wake of abuse and r@pe allegations against renowned music mogul Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, Twitter is ablaze with the hashtag Surviving Diddy.

Drawing parallels to the “Surviving R. Kelly” documentary that exposed R. Kelly’s abusive behaviour, this trending topic follows a federal lawsuit filed by R&B singer Cassie Ventura.

The lawsuit, lodged in Federal District Court in Manhattan, accuses Diddy of rape and a decade-long pattern of physical abuse. Cassie, who was romantically involved with the music producer, alleges that the abuse began in 2005 when she was just 19 years old.
