Secondly he was said not to be a member of his party as at time of the election as his name was not in the membership register of party as required by electoral act, and the judge clearly stated that Yusuf did not put ANY resistance against the allegation.
People should stop thinking that election is a place were people go to exercise emotions, it was a contest and your opponent will look for every careless move of yours to defeat you. It was carelessness on his and his party not to have his name on their register and fraudulent to smuggle results sheets not signed nor stamped by INEC

(1) Subject to subsection (2), a ballot paper which does not bear
official mark prescribed by the Commission shall not be counted.
(2) If the returning officer is satisfied that a ballot paper which does not
bear the official mark was from a book of ballot papers which was furnished
to the presiding officer of the polling unit in which the vote was cast for use at
the election in question, he or she shall, notwithstanding the absence of the
official mark, count that ballot paper.


Now regarding whether Abba gida gida is a member of NNPP, I want to ask you, how is that the business of APC.

Is the APC not a "meddlesome interloper" on this case

And besides, this is a pre election matter

Remember that the NNPP candidate has lawyers, do they put forward this defense in respect of ballot papers before the court? Also, them marks as stated in the section as you quote may differ from stamp and sign but I believe the candidates lawyers are well trained.
