The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has called on both federal and state government to allocate sufficient funds for the insurance of public buildings and buildings under construction in their annual budgets. Commissioner for Insurance, Sunday Thomas, emphasized the compulsory nature of such insurance categories under existing insurance laws during the 12th edition of the National Council of Lands, Housing and Urban Development forum in Kaduna State.
