Brendaniel: Note that this matter is not about stealing which is an actual crime, but about what is moral even when it is completely legal. It was not illegal for Buhari to travel abroad for healthcare as Nigerian President, but it was a moral burden owing to the fact that he fiercely criticized previous Presidents for doing same. Whatever Otti is spending is not a crime as long as it has been budgeted for and within the limits of that budget. The same budget was already reviewed by the legislature to determine the merits or otherwise, and a final and likely adjusted document was approved. What I am saying about Aisha, and you, and me, is that what we have criticized as laymen, we would also be criticized for same or similar when we join the clergy. 2 Likes |

VERDA: Alaye shift, the amount spent on vehicle is vastly criticised by even APC supporters. No body supports corrupt leaders. What we are only saying is that we had thought LP would be different but here we are! They are also the same. So it's not about criticism. It's about the difference obidients boasted their government would bring but it's obvious obidients have been scammed and lied to. It's reason I stopped believing in the fraud Obi after seeing what Anambra people said about him back in 2012. I'm also quite sure a good portion of that money is going to Obi's pocket.

VERDA: Guess it's people like you who should shut up. If an APC supporter criticize any unfavorable decision of APC govt, you all mob them and start your hysterical shegemanic wails. Did you observe the hypocritical gentle of Aisha while criticizing Otti here? Did observe the hypocritical niceties of PO when talking about 160m cars collected by LP lawmakers? It's ok for anyone to criticize bad policies of govt irrespective of party whether you vote for them or not. The next thing after elections is everyone to keep govt on its toes 1 Like |

Throwback: You don't still get my point, you cannot judge her character on such matters till she gets to such kind of position, so you cannot criticize her or do you have any example to give about her on such matters even if it has to with just handling her family's finances, if you don't then don't judge her, you can speak for your self ... |

Brendaniel: You are failing to see that there is a pattern here that goes beyond age bracket, gender, faith, or political association. Why does this pattern continue to perpetuate? If Peter Obi had won and was in power during this turbulent start to a new regime, Tinubu would have told us how he would have done things better. If only Buhari was elected as President, he would have dealt seriously with kwarruption. Guess what? Buhari was indeed President for 8yrs and corruption stood gallantly and was even asking "which Presidency?" So don't be too concerned about the personalities, but the cycle that seem to continue unabated, and the protest of innocence from those in position of power. 2 Likes |
