A respectful woman is a beautiful woman to have a relationship with or get married to. Though it could be said that some men take advantage of a woman’s respect and treat her with disrespect, but a man who values a good woman would value the importance of having a respectful woman.

These are some qualities a respectful woman shows.

1. SHE DOESN’T MAKE THE RELATIONSHIP ABOUT HER

A respectful woman doesn’t try to take control of the relationship; rather she tries to create a balance between herself and her partner. She respects her man’s opinion even when she doesn’t agree with them.

2. SHE’S PEACE LOVING

A respectful woman isn’t the type to throw abuses at her man at the slightest event; she loves peace and she isn’t the nagging woman also.

3. SHE HAS SELF-RESPECT

Respect starts from within and not outside; a respectful woman respects herself — she isn’t the one to start a fight neither is she the one that would create a scene. She has self-respect and acts accordingly whether she’s out or at home.

4. SHE’S CONSIDERATE

A respectful woman isn’t selfish; she doesn’t just think of herself alone, but she thinks of others. In her relationship, she puts in considerate efforts to make it better.

5. SHE KNOWS HER BOUNDARIES

A respectful woman isn’t the one to cross the line; she understands her boundaries and respects them. In her relationship, she isn’t the type to hit her man below the belt with words and abuses just to gain an unfair advantage.

You can’t be a respectful person and not be kind and loving. Respect comes from within, and with respect comes other loving qualities like kindness and tolerance.

Most women have all these things but their men would take them for granted and one thing about us women is that we can tolerate nonsense, but once we break the silence, you guys will then start complaining of how we're nagging and disrespectful.

I can't be asking you calmly on two occasions to do something and you don't do it without giving me a valid reason but expect me to be calm when I bring it up again for the third time... For example, I can't be asking you to put things a certain way in the house, but you'd just keep on doing as you please and causing a mess.. We'll have a big problem.

Even my man knows that I don't repeat myself thrice, because the third time I won't be calm when I do it... Problem with you guys starts when you're still young, your mothers would tell you to do something and you wouldn't do it until they shout at you.

And like big babies, you'd then take that same problem into adulthood and when your women start shouting at you for not listening to them, you'll then start bringing up stories of how your women are disrespectful, ill mannered, not considerate, nagging, unkind, and not loving.

We can't keep telling grown ass men how to do things the right way as if they're little children... You weren't listening to your mothers when you were younger and now you've taken the habit into adulthood.

The sooner you guys learn to swallow your pride, grow up and learn to do things without waiting for your women to tell you, the better... I can't keep always reminding you to keep the house in order like you're a 5 years old child, with time I will lose all the patience and respect I have for you because it'll be feeling like I'm living with a big baby and I will have no choice but to treat you like a big baby.

If a woman is always moody, just know that she's endured a lot and she's tired, she's basically just managing you.
