The Commanding Officer in charge of Ondo State Tantita Security Services, Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja, has applauded the appointment of Dr. Olasupo Olusi as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI).

In a State House Press Release signed by the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Chief Ajuri Ngelale, dated October 19, Dr. Olasupo Olusi was announced as the new BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, to serve for a term of four (4) years in the first instance.

While reacting to the appointment, Asonja described Dr Olusi as an experienced professional with vast boardroom skills whose exceptional profile stand him out as the right man for the exalted position.

"Dr Olusi is not a greenhorn in the industry. He is someone who has served meritoriously in several institutions, including the World Bank. He is an economist and development finance expert whose exceptional profile has qualified him for the position. I send my heartfelt congratulations to him. I wish him the very best in the new position." Asonja said.

Dr. Olusi is an alumnus of Hull University, United Kingdom. He holds a Master degree in International Money, Finance, and Investment, as well as a Doctorate in Finance & Economics from Durham University, United Kingdom, in 2005.
