Hon. Aiguobarueghian Congratulates Governor Obaseki On Zik Award.

...Says the good governance award was not a surprise.

The Majority Leader, Edo State House of Assembly and Member representing Ovia North-East One Constituency Hon.(Barr.) Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian has on behalf himself, family and the sagacious people of Ovia North-East one constituency congratulated Governor Godwin Obaseki for the prestigious Zik Prize for Good Governance recently bestowed on him, in recognition of his government’s sterling performance across all sectors of the state gear towards the improvement of the lives of Edo people over the past seven years.

Hon. Charity Aiguobarueghian, while expressing his delight over the award, he said, the prestigious honour was not a surprise to him, he said it is an attestation to the fact that the leadership that Governor Godwin Obaseki provided since the last seven years is worthwhile.

He further eulogised the Governor for his leadership quality and style that have permeated every sectors of the state economy bringing in genuine transformation of the entire system, including the civil/public service, education, pension scheme, workers welfare and other Institutional reforms.

The Majority Leader while speaking further, highlighted that, the Governor’s practical action in setting things in motion in the areas of Agriculture, infrastructure, health, industrialization, human capacity building, employments and empowerments etal, has made Edo State a fast growing economy hub of the nation and putting the state on the path of sustainable and accelerated growth and development among the committee of states.

The name Zik is not glorious again. But congratulations.
