You are very correct. This thing do me something. I had a golf tournament at ikoyi golf club. Omo I couldn’t play because it doesn’t give you signs at all. Very excruciating pain oh. But it takes just 72 hours to disappear with pain killers. Don’t rub it cos this can extend the healing process. No be village people send am na just excess protein. It comes with age anyway.

Be eating Dandelion leaves Vegetable Soup Yorubas call it Efo Yanrin

Also Ugu Soup is very good as well for treating it

Lo and behold 2 weeks later the right toe went through the same process.

below are pictures which i will just post randomly both left and right toes.

I don't know why the pics are nott loading, and lastly don't mind toe nails when you are in pains to touch the foot is something else.

The most excruciating pain I ever experienced in my life. I wouldn’t wish it on my enemies. Mine was caused by eating too much shellfish and being on diuretics . A habit of drinking a lot of water everyday and eating ample vegetables may prevent it.

Seek medical help and then make some change on your diet.Most importantly, start exercising regularly,both walking/jogging and strength training.Make training your lifestyle not because you are sick now but consistently.One thing is certain,this type of diseases are very rare, perhaps non-existent among those that do regular physical exercises.

I just reduced my beer intake, red meat intake, sugar intake

Accumulation of uric acid around the joins area ...
Just eat less of proteins for now and consult a Doctor preferably a Orthopedic

Osteoarthritis can't be treated right? I've been having it for years and taken all kinds of medications but it still persists. Should I just keep on managing it and stop spending money on treatments? Any advice please?

Stop drinking Alcohol and stop eating any kind of meat for 3 weeks to a month and the gout flare will disappear.

Also avoid foods that have high purine content.

This is a very treatable ailment. Poor people no dey get am. It's all about your foods and drinks.

From the picture here that entire foot is swollen but gouty arthritis is mainly confined to swelling of the big toe.

I did a Uric acid test and it was above the roof( very high) my legs are not swollen just the toe. and yes am very okay now, can even play football like Messi and Ronaldo.
