Members of the National Assembly are to share N104.7 billions as Christmas gifts, approved by the senate president, God’swill Akpabio and speaker Tajudeen Abbas. The funds was padded up into the 2023 supplementary budget recently approved and signed. While each of the 109 senators will cash out N300 million each, the 306 House of Representatives will smile home with N200 million each. When the N104.7 billions was to be inserted into the supplementary budget, the senate president warned the lawmakers to ensure it is not leaked to the media. |
