@Magno liaa, everything is wrong with 'NEPA has brought light...'

It's a corruption of the English language. Light is the end product of power or electricity. And, what you're ignorantly and rapturously advocating doesn't have international intelligibility. That is, it's not understood by others who aren't Nigerians. As many have correctly put it, it's: NEPA has restored power or electricity or electric light.

There's a deep-seated hypocrisy that stems from people's inadequacy of the English grammar and their lame attempt to hide it.

For me, every user of a language has a responsibility to that language, whether it be English, Igbo, Hausa, Mandarin or Italian, at the level of grammar, phonetics and diction.

You and those who liked and shared your vacuous response, have either done so cynically or ignorantly. But I tilt more towards their ignorance. It's the hallmark of a black man to beatify average and the poverty of what is not.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You are a funny guy.

The Oyinbo people don't have word for epileptic light outs like Nigeria. They don't experience it.

The sentence should be included like bukateria and fanimorous.

We are changing Oyinbo's language.

English is like mathematics, it uses the laws of factorization as well, to avoid repetition. That is why you use pronouns, instead of repitative use of proper nouns.

Now, the body in charge of power supply in the area in quote must have been known by the parties involved in the conversation. And there may be no need to mention it.

And the light comes to the area through them. That is to say, they are the ones that brings the light. And we all knows that light is not just illumination only.

So, you can ask "Have they brought the light?"
Or say "They have brought the light?"

Although, you can still xpress this statement with the use of other grammars, but this simple enough to understand and is correct.
So, it is a simple and correct English.
