MEEVEET:Continue LMAO while the traders beg everytime the loud mouth Ibos that are not stakeholders and have nothing to lose create problems. You think the trader that recorded the video was joking. He was begging. You don't beg government for what belongs to you if you legally own it. When the poor and troublesome ones cause problems, it's Ohaeneze and Ibo governors that head to Lagos to beg. DomPerignon: Parasitic? Funny Guy! 87% of the oil that is drilled in igboland is given to the Nigerian state and a paltry 13% is given back to my people, Numerous licences by indigenous and even international companies to drill oil in the south east are refused. A much lesser percentage is given back for gas, in the fiscal year of 2022, imo state got almost 4 Billion as its share of the 13 percent last year, almost 2 billion for Abia and almost 5 billion for Anambra all of this in one yearly quarter. That means the total money imo state brought per quarter is 32 Billion per year is 128 Billion, For Anambra its 40 Billion per quarter or 160 billion per year, Abia is 16 billion per quarter 64 Billion per year. The money from gas is basically unaccounted for, all of these does not include money drilled from igbo communities in the SS. We would prefer to rather pay 13 percent or less to nigeria, and negotiate oil contracts and who gets to drill the oil or gas by ourselves, Just like zamfara does for its gold. From the above imo state generates 128 Billion yearly from oil alone but gets 46 Billion from Federal Allocation, Anambra only 56Billion from FG . While Oyo state gives nothing but gets 57 Billion. Who are you calling a parasite? Now name your state, I am very sure that ur definitely from a cursed Barren place and have the mouth to call igbo people parasites...May God continue to punxsh you! pacesetting: Of course Igbos are not like any other tribe. That is why you are scattered all over the country and cannot achieve anything as a region besides chest beating and meaningless arrogance. You people are not wise. Instead of using your resources to develop your region, you go on wild goose chase to other regions and want to claim you own everything there. I just laugh at your foolishness because other tribes are playing a long game that you are too blind to see 6 Likes |

The few Yorubas in the East even complained about how they couldn't even openly participate in your politics there but you all want to decide politics of SW. You bully others in your land and still want to bully them in their own land then cry victimisation when they resist your tomfoolery. You guys are pathetic clowns. 4 Likes 1 Share |

That's because Igbos are not tribalist. They believe they are part and parcel of any environment they find themselves. Speaking about region, I ask again, have you ever been to the SE? If you have, you won't be talking about development, because no state in the SW is as developed as anybody of the SE states, apart from of cause the glorified Lagos. Everytime Igbos this Igbos that. If someone asks you what they have done, you won't even have a single answer. Na only envy dey disturb some of una. Iamzik: 2 Likes |

You have answers to that question. The problem with so many people about the Igbos is because they believe the tribe always want to dominate wherever they go. But in real life, how many Igbos have you seen making trouble on the street? We've had countless cases from Fulanis and Hausas but no one is calling them out. What I see in all these things is just pure envy for that tribe's industriousness. Igbos are not committing any crime by buying and building properties in other regions. They are not even asking to be part of the government. Just an enabling environment to do their business. Iamzik: |

paramakina202: I do not think the person you are replying to is talking about political appointments but rather employment in the state civil service. Regarding residency, are you saying there are no yorubas or northerners living in the SE who have qualifications for any level of appointment into the state civil service? Finally, have you contrasted the position of Lagos with Anambra in which employment in thevAnambra civil service is reserved only for people from Anambra? It is not enough for any of us to defend our ethnic group as a religion but through introspection to create better societies. 3 Likes |

It seems you're forgetting that Tinubu is the chief of drug trafficking. Clean your eyes before attempting to clean another man's eyes. By the way, who is even asking for jobs in Lagos? Most of you even shouting Lagos all the time came to the state from your Osun and Kwara villages with nothing. Real Lagosians are very peaceful. Everybody is now claiming Lagos. The Oba of Benin has warned you lots to stop claiming what is not yours. You Yoruba ronus have become blind to his comments. Na only for Igbo side una dey rise like garri. Go to Ondo and Osun to develop your lands. WorldRichest: |

Racoon:Stop the hypocrisy! This is not "igbo matter" as you are wont to paint it in your usual manner but about reciprocity! Simple do me, I do you! And hey the Igbos are not the only tribe in Lagos but if out of the magnanimous egalitarianism the igbos are allowed to occupy certain positions and absolved in the Lagos state civil service, it is only fair that some semblance of reciprocity should suffice from the East. And if you are talking about elections the facts speak for themselves and yes, the elections changed the usual dynamics. Wake up to the reality and stop expecting what you won't give! Ogun state and other states will follow suit and everybody will be fine! 2 Likes |
