Are you following the trend at all? They'd rerurn to democracy. I have a business partner whose close relation is in government in Niger. They'd return to democracy. They just wanted to end France modern slavery and dormomance , contrary to what many are thinking. The French ambassador had since been sent packing .

I am not saying the idea of democracy is not superior to Military rule, i am saying the execution and result of a democracy is not necessarily superior to military rule. Just because democracy works for the most part in western society does not mean it works for Africa or elsewhere. This is why self knowledge is key. This is why independent thinking is key and critical. I rest my case because i don't want to spend too much energy driving across my point.

We had been there, spending your lifetime under a military dictator is not the best way to spend one's life. You jubilate initially, then after some years, it is damned on you that a mistake had been made.

Their major aims and objectives are for the sustainability of their regimes. They've tasted power, they don't want to leave it again.

When ever they decided to relinquish the power, they'll be involved in formulation of political parties, contested and won.
