A top financial advisory firm based in Lagos is currently sourcing candidates for the role of a Senior IT officer.

Location: Lagos
Salary: 450,000 naira Monthly

REQUIREMENTS
5 YEARS+ experience working in the same role.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in a related area
-Working English communication skill.
-Good technical knowledge in computer hardware and software.
-MS/MA Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent,
-Advanced knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Power BI or Tableau
-Candidate must possess Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Creating and updating IT policies and procedures based on industry best practices
-Reviewing reports from other departments that use IT services to ensure that they are functioning properly
-Planning, designing, and implementing new computer hardware or software systems
-Coordinating the implementation of new technology within an organization, consulting with IT staff, and communicating with management
-Supervising IT staff such as computer programmers, systems analysts, and network engineers
-Managing IT budgets and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within time and budget constraints
-Coordinating the design, development, testing, and implementation of computer systems for large companies
-Developing security measures to protect computer networks from unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software
-Providing technical support to end users regarding the use of computer applications or hardware products.
