Those responsible for for such reckless mistake should be properly sanctioned. This kind of mistake shouldn't be overlooked. Mistake that claimed the lives of 80 persons is a very expensive mistake that should not be taken for granted. All those behind it should be severely punished |

It is so sad that this has repeatedly happened and no form of accountability is perceived. But "It is clearly state sponsored violence" was never heard from you guys when Buhari(A Northerner) was in power, knowing the number of similar occurrence under his watch. This was same way you accused Jonathan of deliberate genocide when attacks on the terrorist was intensified but remained mute when it was a northerner in power. A non northerner is in power again, and all of a sudden it has become "It is clearly state sponsored violence". Until will collectively condemn evil regardless who is behind it, we will continue to get bleeped by those minority called politicians. |

Danjikanbauchi: Before you start your senseless religious nonsense, the People that were killed are Muslims. You can see from the write up, they were celebrating Maulud Nabiyy. In other words celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad. You are too shallow minded to read before you spill your religious jargons. Next time, read well and understand before making comments. 1 Like 1 Share |

Every country in the world always have such technical mistakes... It's not a new thing! In life, person wey die - die, person wey go survive go survive.... All I advise the Army is to get details of the victims family and compensate them. No need to start fighting each other or play Politics on this |

grandstar: Collateral damage you say. So the civilians were the collateral damage?! All well and good. Now can you tell me how many targets were eliminated in the process? If none, there was no collateral damage either but a deliberate act to kill the civilians or the acted on wrong intel and indeed made a mistake. |

GAZA PART II: TUDUN BIRI VILLAGE A TEST GROUND FOR AFRICAN VERSION Unleashing Horror: The Unforgivable Bombing of Muslims during Maulud Celebration in Tudun Biri Village, Kaduna State By Abdullahi Musa Yaro In an abhorrent display of brutality, the Nigerian Army has shockingly claimed responsibility for the bombing of innocent Muslims as they gathered to celebrate the sacred occasion of Maulud in Tudun Biri Village, Kaduna State. This reprehensible act of terror has left the nation and the world aghast, appalled, and utterly disgusted. The fact that the Nigerian Air Force promptly denied any involvement in the bombing, stating that there had been no air strikes in the area within the last 24 hours, only adds to the confusion and mistrust surrounding this horrifying incident. One cannot help but question the integrity of the armed forces, and their contradictory statements raise serious doubts about their credibility and transparency. It is particularly distressing to witness the recurring trend of Maulud celebrants being targeted for violence. One is compelled to ask, why is it that those who gather to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are subjected to such unspeakable acts of brutality? Is there a clandestine conspiracy between certain elements within the Nigerian Army and religious sects who vehemently oppose the celebration of Maulud? These questions demand answers, and the truth must be unveiled. Equally concerning is the deafening silence from the Nigerian National Assembly, scholars, and elites in the face of these recurring attacks. Their lack of condemnation and failure to address this grave issue raises doubts about their commitment to justice and protection of the rights of all citizens. It is a shameful abdication of responsibility to remain silent while innocent lives are torn apart by violence. The Nigerian Armed Forces, in particular, must take immediate and decisive action to ensure justice for the victims and their families. There must be an unequivocal demand for the punishment of the perpetrators of this heinous act, led by Major VU Okoro, the General Officer Commanding One Division Nigerian Army. Their names must be etched in infamy, and they must face the full extent of the law for their despicable actions. Furthermore, the intelligence gathering capabilities of the Nigerian Army must be called into question. How is it possible that such an appalling act of violence could occur without any prior knowledge or intervention? The failure of intelligence agencies to prevent such attacks further erodes public trust and raises serious concerns about their competence and commitment to protecting the lives of Nigerian citizens. Justice is not a choice; it is an absolute necessity. The families of the victims deserve justice and compensation for their irreparable loss. It is imperative that the Nigerian government, in collaboration with the international community, launches a thorough investigation into this barbaric act and holds those responsible accountable. In conclusion, the bombing of Muslims during the Maulud celebration in Tudun Biri Village, Kaduna State, represents an unforgivable and deplorable act of violence that must be vehemently condemned. The Nigerian Armed Forces, intelligence agencies, and government officials must take immediate action to restore faith in their ability to protect citizens and uphold justice. The victims and their families deserve nothing less than the assurance that those responsible for this horrific act will face the full consequences of their actions. The time for justice, transparency, and accountability is now. @United Nations @followers @HQ Nigerian Army @United States Army @United States Navy @Human rights Nwamazi8: |

DarlingtonC: I read a report released earlier, the dead people are Muslims. They had to invite the Islamic cleric in that area to a joint meeting with the deputy governor, the Police CP, the security agencies etc So my guess is, it's not southern Kaduna. Well, we will know with time sha. |

believe you me this, as at this stage anything flying been it dron shouldn't be in the care of Nigeria army, I'm not comfortable with that judging by the way NA handle it equipment. Air force should take full control of our air defenses not army. |
