Anambra Man Mobilizing Igbo Entrepreneurs For Massive Scholarship in the Region, to be honored as the Most Inspiring Leader of the year. On December 29th, 2023, all roads will lead to Stanel Dome in Awka, Anambra State, for the prestigious AMTY Awards, where outstanding Anambra Sons and daughters will be honored and recognized. Among the awardees, High Chief (Dr) Sir. Darlington Nwabunike will be receiving a special recognition as the Most Inspiring Leader of the Year. Dr. Darlington Nwabunike is the President of the De Imperial Philanthropic Family, a gathering of South Eastern Entrepreneurs consisting of Igbo billionaires. Unlike many elite clubs that serve only social purposes, Nwabunike aims to mobilize Igbo billionaires for impactful projects in Igboland. The challenge has always been how to translate the immense wealth of the Igbo people into meaningful contributions in their homeland. This is where Dr. Nwabunike steps in, filling the void left by previous leaders. He firmly believes that while enjoying life, it is also important to think about progress and development in their homeland. To champion this cause, he has initiated a massive scholarship scheme in Igboland. In a groundbreaking initiative, Dr. Nwabunike is leading igbo entrepreneurs, who are members of the De Imperial Philanthropic Family, to launch a multimillion-naira comprehensive scholarship program across the South-Eastern states. The program aims to uplift underprivileged children from the streets and provide them with a quality education. The scholarship, unlike others, goes beyond covering tuition fees. It also includes all other school-related expenses such as levies, school bags, uniforms, textbooks, and educational materials. Furthermore, the scholarship will cover the Junior and Senior West African Examination Council (WAEC) fees, as well as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) fees for the beneficiaries, it also covers the entire cost of university education, irrespective of course of study and employment after graduation by members of the De Imperial Philanthropic Family. According to him, this year's scholarship scheme is just the beginning of the De Imperial Philanthropic Family's vision. Their plan is to continue the program annually, with the goal of reaching an astounding 1,000,000 beneficiaries. By doing so, they aim to make education accessible to millions of deserving children and foster a brighter future for the region. The scholarship examinations already took place in November 2023, marking the start of a transformative educational journey for the fortunate 250 students in the South East. As Dr. Nwabunike receives the Most Inspiring Leader of the Year Award at the AMTY Awards, he will be recognized for his exceptional efforts in mobilizing South Eastern entrepreneurs for this massive scholarship program, bringing hope and education to the underprivileged children of Igboland. https://anambrapeople.com.ng/anambra-man-mobilizing-igbo-entrepreneurs-for-massive-scholarship-in-the-region-to-be-honored-as-the-most-inspiring-leader-of-the-year/
