In abroad before you are offered any job they will check your eligibility papers to work, why can't Nigeria have something like that as well? |

You are a senator of the federal republic, and you are afraid to mention the names of the companies bastardising the entity of Nigeria. Shame on you please... 2 Likes |

Lanre1st:There is a difference between a country and a company. China is a country and will not release inmates from prison to a company to work as expatriates in foreign countries. If they deliberately engage a company in such deals like the FBI does, they will give the inmates new identities under oath. So your fantasy world of having access to inmates database of other countries online is an imagination of a daft. |

JagabanBorgu: Nigeria will give you an estimate of anything and not the database of anything. And those estimates are not even near correct. So your fantasy of Nigeria having a database of anything you mentioned is imagination of a daft There is a difference between a country and a company. SoNature: NIN, just like BVN, is only a unique number that is used to hold information about someone. It only holds some basic information about a person. It can not tell where you are or weather you are alive or dead. How many times has police repoted of people burnt beyond recognition. Can NIN be of any help in this regard?. There are people with double NIN, BVN and passports. So don't go there. |

Send Adams Oshiomohle is is correct in this one. Most Chinese working in construction sites in Nigeria are prisoners. The Chinese govt is doing this because Nigeria borrow too much from them. I will always advice our ladies not to date these Chinese men as they are very heartless. I. Factory companies they are there also and so wicked to the Nigerian labour workers. |

thesolutions: Mr Man, China 🇨🇳 is a socialist market economy(SME), China has more stake in many Chinese companies, their country negotiate with other countries on behalf of their companies, giving them necessary support to accomplish their task. So releasing prisoners to them as workers is not impossible. Beside, Osho did not said he get access to their datase online but he said he has prove, which I don't doubt considering his status as stakeholder in the country. Try to learn, don't argue blindly |

wman: You shouldn't expect convicts working in your neighbourhood to be polite, mannerable and or differing - this should be the least of your concerns. Regardless of reality, majority of the world's people view convicts as synonymous with deviancy. The safety of locals should worry you more than matters of inferiority complex. You're in fact exhibiting inferiority complex worrying about thire racial attitude instead of worrying over the danger they pose as criminals. |

linearity:No company can have access to inmates without it government consent and no government will release an inmate to a company without providing new identities to the inmates. So if new identities are given to such persons, how do you look it up given that you can only see what the government want you to see. So baba is working with here say even if it is 100% possiblity of truth. No government will release an inmate to another country without providing them with new identities. |

The truth of the matter is that we have been enslaved in our own country. Lebanese and Syrian with a population of about 7 and 22 million are everywhere supervising projects in Nigeria. Nigeria Engineers are placed under them receiving orders from someone who doesn't have formal education and experience. Engineers are being paid peanuts. They will sack and employ like prisoners. 1 Like |

I don’t want to mention the companies’ names, but if I’m provoked, I’ll mention them.” This is the problem with Nigeria. How can Oshiomole say he won't mention names of companies sabotaging Nigeria's economy except he is provoked? Who is he expecting to provoke him? Prisoners from foreign lands are taking jobs meant for your people and you're sitting there in the Senate covering their ass waiting for a provocation that will never come. It is well with Nigeria. 1 Like |

thesolutions: Are you saying this based on a factual actual Country that you know of or based on your ignorance? In developed worlds court convictions are public records and anyone can access it, you don’t even red to be a company to do that. The only exception are juvenile convictions that are sealed. That is why if you commit a crime in developed countries it will be difficult if not impossible for you to land that your dream job, because the company’s HR would pull a background check on you and they will get all your criminal history. As a result of this unemployment among those who have completed their prison sentences, the government of many developed countries in an effort to help reabsorb ex-convicts back into society and to help reduce the chance of fall back into crimes, give companies certain incentives e.g. Tax breaks, special treatments, etc if they hire and retain ex-convicts. Though Baba Osho did not mentioned names, those in the know, know that he is referring to Chinese Companies. Their Government give these companies incentives in China to hire these people and they hire them and ship them to Africa to work this way if they fall back into crimes, it will be the host Countries eg Nigeria and not China that would bear the consequences. |

linearity:There is a difference between prisoners and ex-convict. While I perfectly understood your view of government trying to integrate ex-con to the society, government can not take such steps for prisoners who are serving their terms. If any government would do that for anyone, it is usually under mutual agreement for the convict who is probably a government asset and they do that by giving the beneficiary a new identify. Understand this and rest. Prisoners and ex-convict are not the same and the topic mentioned prisoners and not ex-convicts. |
