There are indications that Ogun state might not participated at the 2nd edition of National Para games tagged "Abuja 2023"

A source from the sports council told Journalists that the athletes are in the dark regarding their participation.

According to the person, they told us that the state government has not approved fund for the team's participation.

" up till now, we don't know if we are going to Abuja for the games, we were told that Governor Dapo Abiodun is yet to approve fund for the state's participation'

"while other contingents from other states are leaving for Abuja for the games, there are no plans on ground for team Ogun for the event'

The National Para games tagged "Abuja 2023" is slated for between 8th and 14th December at the MKO National Stadium, Abuja.
