yoruboid:
We’ve heard a lot of stories about how Emeka Ojukwu’s father gave his Rolls Royce to Queen Elizabeth to ride while she was in Nigeria

No one has bothered to verify the lies which have been peddled for decades

Indeed the car belonged to the Emir of Kano and the pictures below prove that

The Queen also requested her visit be rerouted to include Ijebu-Ode to enable her to visit Chief Timothy Adeola Odutola, the Ogbeni Oja, her father’s friend who usually wined and dined with the royals at Buckingham Palace.

She passed a night at Ijebu-Ode and what a privileged visit indeed. Behold the Adeola Odutola Lodge, Ijebu-Ode (built, 1939).

The car never belonged to Emir Muhammadu Sanusi I in the first place. It was a gift from the Queen to the Emir. The Rolls Royce Wraith was one in a collection of an Armenian engineer businessman and close associate of the Queen, Nubar Gulbenkian. He had twenty two of these Rolls Royces, each of which he personally designed and supervised their production at the Rolls-Royce plant.. The rest of that collection is in a British Museum.

You can find more about it here

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nubar_Gulbenkian

You will find out in this newspaper that he lent the Queen the Rolls Royce that she rode in that picture.

When is then? And what modalities was used to ascertain that he is the richest man in Africa?

Before Ojukwu father, we have Darocha a Yoruba man who was also said to be the richest in Africa in the 1920s.

Also some people claimed it is Dantata that was the richest in his era.

People just come out with stuffs, unless there is a standardized body Like Forbes that label them that, everyone will just continue to lie that they are the richest

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candido_Da_Rocha

Candido Da Rocha supplied the entire Lagos with water. He is credited to be the founding fathers of the Lagos State Water corporation.

That was how they were circulating the nonsense below not long ago grin

They tagged the Oba of Lagos as Ibo
And the Oba of Benin as Yoruba.

Same way they were using pictures of Akoko Edo women and tagging them as Aba women rioters. We could go on and on.
See their lies oooo cheesy

Hate Igbos all you want, without Yoruba nation, Lagos will be gradually taken.

Its all about economic power!
LegendHero:
If the news about the Queen using Ojukwu dad Rolls Royce originated from an Ibo man, the best thing for your mental health is not to believe it.

It has been established that they lie 99% of the time.

If the year in contention is 1956, then the Queen used the Emir Rolls Royce and there is well documented video evidence from Reuters to prove that.

Whether you like it or not Ojukwu The Man had a Rolls Royce. Infact Emeka Ojukwu his son drove a Roll Royce in college. Verified by even his prof who he gave a ride in it.

How many men do you know even whites at the time owned such a superior car not to talk about sending his child to a prestigious school and giving him such a superior expensive car.

So let it choke you all. The man was richer than any hydraulic soup guzzler alive in his time

Name of school and professor.

Just ranting when theres enough video and pictures to prove that indeed it wasn't Ojukwu fathers rolls that was used to ferry the queen. Yes no doubt Sir louis was rich and owned a rolls but that didn't make him the richest Nigeiran , the richest igbos yea but not the richest Nigerian.
It's difficult sometimes to swallow the truth as it hurts deviate from all you've known....but it's better knowing the truth that holding in stubbornly to lies
