The second one was when I sleep walked into the kitchen,grab some packams of noodles,lit the cylinder,cooked the noodles even went as far as adding the remnant scrabbled eggs

I sat down to eat...my spouse caught me red-handed,he told me to hold the cutlery,then he took pictures as evidence.

Mehn I was so embarrassed,I Sha ate the food then sleep walked back to bed.

During my NYSC days, in the lodge , there use to be an elderly man who sleep talk. When he does so you will think, there are numerous people with him. Not until I decided to pray that night and made him feel uncomfortable.

Men, those people came for me when I briefly slept. They were chasing me bad. I had to pray extra and they quenched.

One night, we were all gisting in front of our house and my mother noticed that my sister was dozing.

She told my sister to go and sleep and she went inside only to discovered that she was not in her room when we wanted to do head count.

We searched everywhere including the ceiling and started visiting all close family members since there was no phones at the time. Everyone was worried and some were crying already.

My cousin later discovered that she was in the room sleeping in standing position by the dirty clothes basket placed behind the door near the wardrobe.

Basically, we covered her up everytime with the door while searching the room and shielded by the wall of the wardrobe on the other side.

It was so horrible because we found her around 2am. Our whole neighbourhood joined us with the vigil and the ultimate search.

My bro talks in his sleep

When I'm praying, I just go offpoint and start saying rubbish, like nonsense totally, at some point I'll get myself again, small time ill start another mumu talk, omo I'll just lie down and sleep

There was one gory incident of sleep walking that occurred some time ago

A butcher in Ghana butchered his member (gonad/JT) with a meat cleaver while sleep walking! 🙀

Na my roomie back then oh.

One day he was sleeping and saying.

"Chinaza nyem ya" (chinaza give it to me) .

Like the thing was very funny


He will start from mumuring then raise the pitch and the sound will vanish. Then he continues the cycle.

Omo I had to call niggrr in the morning and ask him who chinaza is

Will some times lash out at my partner during heavy sleep and when maybe disturbed without having a recollection of the action when I awoke.

Happens rarely but its a thing my partner complains whenever it happens.

According to her I was sleeping one night and suddenly gave her a powerful punch at the back while saying things she could not understand.i had no recollection of that but the evidence was there to see.

I woke up in the middle of the morning then ran straight into a primary school,climbed the baobab tree slept on the branches,my late father then chased after me ,brought me down,I like to think he gave me correct catholic mending there.

I was like 6 or 7 then. Popsy woke me up in the night to go pee so I would not bedwet. See me heading straight to kitchen and reach for bag of beans. I begin dey pee inside it. Beans inside was still like half bag o.
Popsi asked me where I was urinating. I still get mind tell am "nah inside beans of course". But I didn't know what I was doing o.
Following morning he reminded me what I did and said. I just looked like "really"?

My brother entered a neighbour house,went into there kitchen and peed in their soup pot

When I was a child, I had a rather embarrassing incident related to sleep walking. One afternoon, I woke up from a deep sleep and realized that I had to go to the lavatory or loo or toilet. Since I was half-asleep, I didn't really think about what I was doing. I walked over to the water pot, thinking it was the toilet, and did my business there. When I realized what I had done, I panicked. I tried to use a spoon to scoop out the poo, but it was too late - the damage was done, so I emptied the water pot and poopoo into the toilet and filled up the water pot with water stored in the bath tub so that no one will find out.

A true life story which happened in the dreams of the sleepwalker

And this is being both literal and metaphorical at the same time...

Was at an all night party. Those kain noisy parties wey Dey happen for open street, everybody wear the same Ankara, musician Dey play juju music for stage, food and drink Dey flows here and there. Myself and a few friends and cousins were sitted together and just enjoying the moment. Suddenly one of my cousins who has dozed off on a chair woke up and started walking away from the group. Somebody walked up to him and asked where he was going , he said he wan go piss. The person came back and sat down. After like 10 - 20 minutes, person wey go piss never come back. Naso we begin find this guy o. Around 2.30pm for the area wey everywhere don dark. Thank God for vigilante, the guy don sleep-walk to the 3rd street from where we Dey party. I hear say na slap the vigilante take bring him back to his senses. E for waka from mushin reach port harcourt that night 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Living in a two-storey building....
Na so my brother been dey watch film for parlor. He come sleep...

My father woke him up and asked him to continue sleeping in the room

Na so my bro waka go balcony go they climb the rails

He thought he was climbing the double bunk bed where he normally slept

There was one evening I lay down to sleep, next thing I found my self in a brothel getting down with a girl.

No matter how hard I explained to my family, they didn't believe that I sleepwalked from my bed, took my bath, put on my clothes, sprayed some perfume and sleepwalked out of the house, stopped a Keke, priced the fare with him and landed at the brothel entrance. I then sleepwalked into the brothel, had some drinks and bargained for short time with a girl I saw there. When she agreed to my price, I took a last sip of my drink and sleepwalked into her room and got down with her.

I honestly didn't know what I was doing cos I wasn't awake but my family didnt believe me

My experience in the 80's; a tenants son was woke to go and urinate, na so d guy let the house enter street dey sleep walk dey go.
See wahala, see searching in the middle of the night, everybody was woken up, he was later found at the end of the street sleep walking.
I no fit forget am.

A sleep walker travelled to a another city for a visit. She woke up in the middle of the night, opened the door while stark naked and left her apartment.

1)i once left home at night to the next street while my two eyes was close
2)i left my room to passage and urinate on the floor .
3)there was a time i was reading for exam and i slept, my brother decided to wake me up for solat, he said i was reading multiplication table while my eyes was still close.

there are a lot experience that i cant even remember.

Not exactly sleepwalking

When I was about 10yrs or so. I woke up to Jim reeves' track playing on the stereo, that was after I had slept early at about 6pm that evening. Normally my dad would play Jim reeves album very early in the morning so much we often woke to it. So I woke up, bathed my siblings and wore them their school uniforms while I went to get ready for school. Having dressed for school, I joined my siblings in the parlor waiting for my mum to give us breakfast and drop us off at school. After waiting for almost 1hr I went and tapped on my parent's door only for them to come out, realized what happened and burst into laughter. It was then I realized the time was just few minutes to midnight. I was so embarrassed.

It happened to me when I was in year 2, I nearly jumped of my hostel back door while sleep walking, it was my roommate that shouted my name and i turned back and went straight to my bed. He was narrating the whole thing for me in the morning and I was just laughing and wondering cos I can't remember any of those stuff.


Another one happened while I was sleeping with my father on thesame bed, I stood up and started talking "pass the ball na pass the ball" . My father was just there looking and smiling at me. Later in the morning he told me, that was when I believed what my roommate was saying back then in school.
