Your ward is lucky to be in 3rd place. I see 80, 82 and 86 in some of the subjects. Kindly note that in these subjects someone also scored 97, 98 and 99 respectively. 3rd position is fair enough. Fulfill your pledge to your ward please.

Look at the part for skills ratings. What's the probability that that section is entirely the same 3-marks ratings and the other psychomotor section is entirely 1-mark rating?

Your small girl is more brilliant than you. So having A across board now means she must come first? Common sense should have told you that another person may have gotten A in all the subjects but with higher aggregate than your child. Having A s all through doesn't mean she scored 100/100 in all the subjects. Only God knows the nonsense you have been feeding her since she came home with the result.

You can only make a case if your daughter's cumulative average is 100. What determines position is not grade but cumulative average score. Ever seen a child scored 99 percent in a subject and still earns the last position?

In a situation where the class average is above 90%, do you think you will see any child that will have a B? Private schools these days award marks as they want, and you cannot blame them because if your child is not pampered and given a good mark, many parents will not hesitate to move their kids to another school. We, parents, cause most of the issues affecting education standards. Little time, parents will say, 'After all the money I'm paying and it is not reflecting.' We prefer to see kids giving scholarly performances even if they do not deserve it. I can bet it with you; most of the kids in the class have these excellent results you are presenting here. My kids back then, all of them came with such excellent results, but the class average tells you your kids' performance in relation to the class average.
