The Kajola Railway Plant This magnificent asset of industrialisation has to be one of Nigeria's greatest achievements in recent times. Buhari gets the praise for this. This country now builds train coaches and wagons. It is no mean feat, as this is an activity usually associated with industrialised nations, and it signals that Nigeria is slowly taking its rightful place among those nations. . . Train Coach Example . . Interior Our railway plant in Kajola, Ogun state, has orders pouring in from across Africa for train coaches, as we speak. The plant is abuzz with manufacturing activity, with thousands of Nigerians from all sections of the country employed there, and the plant has even built and supplied coaches already to the NRC, for the Lagos-Ibadan line and others. Kudos to all concerned for this laudable project that has established Nigeria as the train building headquarters of the African continent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU39fFOdzHw&ab_channel=EkogistsEnt. . . . The story is that when Buhari met Xi Jinping in Beijing, Buhari told him he needed CCECC, China's top rail manufacturer, to not just build railway lines and stations in Nigeria, but also a train manufacturing plant, to help in transfer of technology to Nigeria. Xi Jinping then consulted with CCECC officials, and then later he promised Buhari over dinner that CCECC would build a train factory in Nigeria that had the capacity to produce 225 different variations of coaches and wagons out of the 315 in the CCECC main railway plant in China. The result is the Kajola railway plant. Top-notch deal by Buhari. 6 Likes 4 Shares |

The power of continuity! Initiated by President Mohammadu Buhari, and reached completion under His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) No doubt that, there was never a time in the political history of the world, where two super leaders handed the baton of leadership to each other. It’s a blessing upon Nigeria. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Catapault: Will we get there. Omo Ogun ise ya! A welcome development, the locals are employed, it creates direct and indirect jobs, forex is saved, and to top it all, the importation of forex via the supply chain. Not forgetting, the youths within the state, the environs and beyond are engaged or employed ---lest crime and nuisances within the locality and environs as well. . 7 Likes 2 Shares |

The maker of this video actually lifted the writeup he was reading from somewhere. To the topic, this is the model that should be adopted in arms production, too. That steel complex in Ajaoukuta should be made to work. |

richiemcgold: Ogun state has become a very fast industrialising place. It appears the state has provided a very conducive environment for investors. Everybody wants to site a factory there, it seems. I'm impressed by their progress. 1 Like |

This plant also serves the need of intending states looking to build a railway network, eg Anambra with Onitsha. No more need for dollars to import expensive train coaches. They can now source everything here in Nigeria, with Naira. |

Catapault:It is logical to set your factory in area close to large market (Lagos). And if you would be exporting also and want peace you would also consider ogun state. The roads are seriously bad! |

Wow, information is key in anything we do. I thank this individual for producing this great video,he is indeed a patriot This are the projects that are necessary for the Industrialisation of any nation If we can get our Power and Transportation Infrastructure right, nobody can hold this nation from becoming a world power I also want to encourage the Federal Government concession to the Chinese government that white Elephant project called Ajaokuta This is the only group I believe can make good use of that plant,at least they will have the raw materials needed to keep producing steel for the rail line In as much as I love this news,I am saddened by the reality of the Road network in Ogun state The Ogun state government needs to look at the possibility of concessioning some roads in the state to private individuals Most border towns in Ogun state are a big mess and I believe it is time for those in government to start looking at the possibility of engaging private stakeholders to handle some projects Kindly check my signature for property in Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub 1 Like 1 Share |
